War Threads War Threads are, first and foremost, threads that include the epic battles and wars that take place in Westeros. Due to the sheer scale of these threads and the amount of Player Characters and Non-Player Characters that will be included, there has to be some explanation and a few guidelines. Firstly, each Lord of the Great Houses has received a personal message with the default numbers of their armies. We've given an estimate of the canonical number of armed forces each House has, but they will be a secret to every other person in the roleplay unless the Lord of a House chooses to disclose the information. The reason for this is so that we can increase the need to forge alliances between the Houses and keep it more realistic. Secondly, it is also important to list how many soldiers you will be utilising in a specific battle, and the equipment at the beginning of each War Thread. How many boats and how many soldiers are you using for that battle? Thirdly, if your character fits into the 'Others' member group and has the correct criteria (i.e. is a Highborn character and not a sellsword), you may swear fealty to one of the Great Houses and be granted your own stronghold. This automatically gives you a 5,000 strong army as a Custom House, but you must fill out the custom House application which you will find here. Lastly, when included in a battle thread, you may only post once, listing the actions and strategies of your army in that battle. Every House/Army that is included in that battle has one post, where they will list their soldiers and equipment, as well as their first attack. After everyone has had their first post, the administrator team will write up a summary of the first attack and an outcome. Each member of the battle will then post again, once, basing their next move on the summary of the first attacks. It will carry on as such; each House/Army getting one post a turn before an administrator writes up a summary of each move.

Amended: Use the following template to state what troops are present in the current thread and/or battle. Please note that this is just an example. The units you're using can be changed.
