[?] Psychological Profile:
A child of Yi Ti, and a prophesied true child of the Lion of Night, Bas has been brought up through mercurial violence and bloodshed. Taught by his mother, as is tradition in Yi Ti, to be a fearless warrior, Yan Yaro Bas is through and through the true Maw of Yi. Raised in the Junglecity of Yin, and apart of the Yi Ti rulers deathsquad, Swords of the Basilisk, Yan Yaro is a truly deadly man, with no inhibitions of cruelty. Yet, inside him he possesses a curious little soul, and a penchant for kindness to children. Being brought up in Yin, in the Clan of Yan Yaro, he possesses cultural philosophies and beliefs most in the West would find weird and odd. Taught that the greatest honour one can give the ancestors is to use their bones as jewellery and accessories, Yan Yaro was accustom to the sight of bones, and drank the skull of his Great-Grandfather Yan Yaro Si, and still does to this day. Because of his unfamiliar condition, thought to be a less-active version of Greyscale, which effects the nerves. He cannot feel the wind on his face, a kiss on the cheek, he cannot feel wine rush down his throat or the sting of a blade. For this very reason, he was left adorned under the statue of the Lion of Night, a foreseen prophet of the Yi Ti people. Bathed in the blood of the Yan Yaro Clans enemies, he was seen to be the next ruler of their city of Yin, yet he was disinterested in ruling, his eyes set on a more glorious prize, the west.
Having heard stories of the First men, and of Knights, he dreamed of one day venturing forth to that place, to see whether or not such people do exist. Yan Yaro Bas, more commonly referred to as Bas, is a short man, like most in Yi Ti, he does not boast the most impressive height, although he is extremely built to be a great warrior. His skin tone is rather light, due to the shades of the tall-trees in the tree-city of Yin despite the generally sunny disposition of Yi Ti. For example, the city of Asabahd which rules over the grassy plains, and this it's people are darker. Despite this, his body is carved of stone, pure and strong.

Like most of the Yan Yaro Clan, he has been trained by his mother in combat since a child. As previously mentioned, like the prowling Lions, it is the females who teach the cubs all there is to know. How to fight, how to hunt, how to cook. The Fathers, rather, are in charge of protecting the clan. The females are the hunters, and the men are the fighters. A similar concept of war is seen in Bayasabhad, where the women are mighty warriors. More so than the men. Unlike the Western Philosophies of Westeros, who see the sword as a means to an end, in Yi Ti, the philosophy of war is far more spiritual. The Sword is a direct extension of the soul of yourself, and of your ancestors. Each droplet of blood painted onto the sword is in honour of your family, satisfying their thirst as they dine with the Lion of Night. They are taught that every motion in the body is an indicator of action in war, every twitch, every movement of the eyes, of the forehead, or the nose. Every breathe tells a story. They are taught to psychologically manipulate and predetermine the actions of others in the pursuit for bloodshed, making the Yi Ti formidable opponents, and so when in combat, the Clans of Yi Ti usually wear great helmets, covering their entire face. Thought visible from the inside, they cannot be seen on the outside, thus they cannot be read. If the eyes are the window to the soul, this helmet leaves them protected. And so, Yan Yaro Bas has ventured forth, from Leng and the Isle of Whips, to the Great Sand Sea, the Shrinking Sea, and the Bleeding Sea; the Mountains of the Morn, the Shadow Lands, and Asshai, from Vaes Dothrak to Qarth, and eventually to Westeros.

[?] Skills and Attributes:
Swordsmanship As is every clansmen of Yan Yaro, and Yi Ti, Bas is an extremely good swordsmen, with a penchant for it and a general malaise others feel from him. He is extremely quick on his feet, agile, and strong with his slashes. He is extremely good at understanding the psychology of his opponents, and reading the strikes of others in order. Always three-steps ahead, he is a skilled advisory for any Knight.
Poison Like many in the East and Essos, Yan Yaro has a fluent understanding of Poisons, and has used them occuringly in battle, especially Basilisk Poison, Manticore and the Silencer.
Multilingual Like many in the East, Bas has learnt the languages of others fluently; from Westerosi, to Dothrak, to the Language of the Yi Ti's to Trader's Tongue, from Low Valaryian to the Language of both the Asshai and the Summer Tongues.
Witchcraft and Magic While not a practitioner, he has learnt to understand and be well versed in the history of Asshai Sorcery.
