The program I use is called NSF 3. ![]() What this program does is it runs an algorithm to randomly generate scores per game. At the start of a new league, everyone who participates starts with no changing factors. That's why I included the chance to RP before the season starts to give you an RP bonus. When you factor in RP bonus, it does not make you "better" than anyone else, per se, but instead makes you more probable to get a higher score than someone who has a lower RP bonus. Ironically enough, the only two who didn't RP before the start of the season by posting team rosters, history, ect were Baconaters and Corinthians, and they're performing well. The reason you're not doing well is you're on the wrong side of chance and luck. To better increase your chances in the future, I'm going to add a .0005 RP bonus per win and an additional .0005 RP bonus per post-game RP you post. This season, I've been accepting any kind of RP, even one-liners. In coming seasons I'm only going to accept longer, more in-depth RP's. Match reports are the ideal RP, but if your opponent writes up the RP before you get the chance to do your own, you can find other creative ways to RP, such as post a press interview with your team or talk about their training regiment that day or post-game actions. Just a note: All RP bonuses from wins and RP's aren't applied until the following season. |

I just hope the initial RP bonus won't damage my team, at least I have been more active recently. |

It won't hurt you too bad. Right now the RP bonus is a very small probability factor. Five or six seasons from now, they will matter much more as some clubs pull ahead of others in terms of the bonus. Ill be developing ways to increase your bonus in the off season, like training drills and such. In that case I'll run it in a D&D Dungeon Masterstyle by using a random number generator to decide what your increase will be. |

But we should try to ensure a minimum balance so new players can join this too. |

Well, it will be just like a real league. New clubs will be less experienced and perform less than those who have been around. However, the percent I have chosen to make the RP bonuses are so low that while it will make it difficult, new players will still be competitive. If the league sticks around long enough and players begin to have extensive leads on new clubs, I may give these newer clubs a random percentage boost roll and godmod them an RP to explain why they're joining with an accelerated boost whille still giving those who have been around longest an earned advantage. |
