Well this thread as the title suggests is regarding the creation and introduction of a new RP map. Please use this thread to give idea, thought and discussion regarding a new regional RP map. Thank you, Senator Cox |

My suggestions 1. We implement a pay system where you must pay for expanding your nation. The first property is free but the others get more expensive. 2. I think we should create multiple large islands. Each has a different culture to it, history, age, etc. We should also create temperate zones to give a realistic representation of land. That way a nation in the south isn't freezing compared to a Northern Nation that is warm |

I thought the money system didn't affect RP? Your second idea seems quite appealing though... |

I agree with a paid map. The first spot should be free and the rest should be paid. We could also allow expansion through RP but in a more organized way. Also I think we should define that population, economy will be defined by the map, not by NS stats. About the design, I think a world map would be nice and easy to use, but I think we can use have an unique map too. |

Well I’m afraid that i don’t agree with the paid part, only unless you was buying land off another nation... Like America and Russia regarding Alaska... I'm also not sure about defining the population, economy by the map as every member likes to RP their own populations and what its economy is made up of... For example Saxoiy has large oil reserves in the seas surrounding Saxoiy... |

@Harry- The paid part must be included to allow for more activity and to ensure the money system will start being used. About population, I am really tired of RPing against nations that have billions of people. It's totally unfair to younger nations. |

I understand your points but it still makes it unrealistic and when you role play you are role playing like you are a real life nation and you don’t simply buy pieces of land... And population shouldn’t be a problem anyway, as you can logistically only use so many troops etc. anyway and rarely would a nation use his entire military (unless he was god modding which is not allowed)... I can’t see why not, it would certainly add to the realism and the detail of the map/ world... |
