Grayson, Richard.

Tall, dark hair, handsome, athletic build, charming when he wants, distance at times as well.

Born in a world with no superheros but instead plenty of supernatural Grayson had no idea until he was in his early twenties that he was anything other than normal.

Military service, leading into several degree's in law enforcement related materials, followed by work as a Sort Officer in a local PD.

Grayson was aware magic existed, he had come across it, it had killed friends of his, later it came back to kill him.

But odd as it was, he never stayed dead, and in that first year he died a great deal. Long story short, he found he was a long long long distance relative of a Fae. A Shea no less. Someone back there had wings! How weird!

Also, seemed he was a long long long distance relative of a Werewolf tribe known as Wendigo. So that was..fun, well if you called having to under-go tribal rights with no real abilities of said tribe, yea tons of it. Load's of happy!!!

Not done.

He is also part of a club that runs around cutting each others head's off for kicks!!!!! Oh the joy! And then it got better still.

He was fated to be one of 11, one of 11 that would either doom or save the entire world from not just one, but 4 different Apocalypse's that would all fall within a matter of months or days of one another.....

Alright, so that's all the surprises right. 11 of us, fate of the world 4 times over. Oh best detail, each o you are fated to die or betray the rest to save your lives.......

So from all facets of the world of darkness you are gathered together and your going to some how die saving it, how ever unlikely that is.

Along a 15 year run you meet mummies, (not happy people.) (if they are still people) you meet and work with vampires, werewolves, fae, mages, sorcerers, immortals, you become a sorcerer to add to your skills, then hunters. (did you think mummies were not happy? Yea right..) And find out all groups have two major sides and at least one minor side and they are basically not so evil and super evil and then chaos. That's their lines each group and factions despises all the others and the only possible hope of anyone living. (Not you your fated to die) is to get everyone together, to ignore ancient blood debts and actually work for a common goal long enough to survive this entire mess, then go back to killing one another.

Oh, most of them are a thousand times more powerful than you and at least a hundred to thousand years older.

Ok.

So all that done, survived the betrayals from without and within, managed to get everyone including the human governments in on the game, hit the bad things before they wake or or be waiting on them as they do, funnel the fights away from major population centers, and manage to get it all done.

You still die.

Thanks to luck, fate and a whole piss load of preparation you did not die by being uncreated by a Elder Vampire Gaze or by losing your head.

You wake as the only of the 11 still around. You awake as 1 of 4 that were your last group of true allies still alive.

Powers that be offer you anything you want. Anything.

You smile, thank them as you know they are are scarier than you are but also that everything with things like that comes with a price, and to be honest, your done, **** it, to much, you want to be let be, left alone. Call it a day.

You smile and thank them and say you just want to be left alone to live your life.

You walk away from all of it.

Return to a fortress you built. "ShadowDeep" the center of your power and a place where peace is all you want, a vampire slave you purchased and made free who is your best friend and 1 of the 4 like you, Melissa, tends the place, a Sorcereres far more powerful than yourself magic wise, and you read books, watch tv, fish and ignore all callers. That should be it right?

Wrong.

Not 5 years and an alternate reality problem becomes your problem and now ShadowDeep stands as all that sits between your world and this terrible world where the 11 failed. You see what would have happened had you not succeeded. You know you can't fix it, you just have to find a way to close the portal and save your world.

3 years here and a few hundred refugees saved, portal closed and ok, serious retirement, nothing else, done.

Some little bitch sends you 400 years into your own past, an attempt to screw up your future by you messing with the past, any idea how hard it is NOT to affect ANYTHING! or 400 years!

All the way back to your time where he sent you back and your waiting on you to be gone, then you stab him in the face, not you, the guy that sent you back.

Sigh. Patterns that displease you emerge here. They are just not going to leave you alone. Ever.

Back to trying to retire, several years of success, just long enough to make you think maybe...maybe this time.

A Technocratic group has waited long enough, it violates the fragile peace with the others. The other supernatural groups. Starts doing what it can to take over small nations, a goal of seizing global power as the eventual out come. Guess who the remaining members of the Accord come to.

You can ignore it, or do something about it. Ignoring it means eventually war will come to your door step...

Now well into this new campaign you appear where?................

---

Skills: Grayson is multi-talented, but primarily his skills run to speaking and military.

Abilities:

Immortal. He is actually fairly powerful in his abilities of this nature.

Speed, Stamina, Agility, Animal Sense and Empathy, Strength.

Werewolf. Minor sense enhancements, strength, shapeshifting for only a couple minutes and doing so utterly drains all magic's from his sorcerer powers. This is a combination of both.

Fae-Shea. Dancing lights, enhanced charm and appearance.

Ghoul. Can drink vampire blood and gather minor benefits from it until it is used up.

Sorcerer. A plethora of skills and spells. Here is the catch. He can only have about 20 spells memorized. They must be memorized each day and once he is out a spell may take several minutes to cast, and that is just one.

------------

This is a powerful character, likely one of the most powerful I have run, everything above was rped out table top over about 8 years. The note with this character is not about the power, but the personality. He is not a classic samurai or gun fighter, he is just a man at the end of the day that wants to help, but is so tired of his fate being out of his hands.

He will not and has not ever been power gamed. The irony was most of the above abilities I earned through GM's carrying out story, powers I was not even after. I say this so no one reads and thinks.

"OH NO!"

Watch how he plays. Then decide.

Pssttt, I've written with him, Hade. He was friends with a Mord-Sith/Succubus named Desiree and a Mord-Sith/Confessor/Drakos named Hope. :D Hope was in Lab back in the day!! This can be deleted after Hade reads it, lol. Just sayin'.

Hey it is rather helpful to those of us who were not there, and would have really been helpful say like before noon yesterday just sayin' :) Nah its all good and being all human and stuff I am bound to mess up your characters and or their abilities at least once possibly even forget their names, in which case FYI they shall be called Bob! That being said thank you Hade for first off not sending me hate filled PM's and second off for posting up a bio very helpful (hugs) to all!!! No no no, this is proof in writing that you are a girl and therefor a screw up hehe grins. So not deleting this.

Grins

Hugs and you did fine. Grayson is not big on powers until they need to be used. Subtley, you'll see what I mean, he is far more flashy in his moves than his powers.
