Hello, My AP Stats class is conducting a mock election at our high school but we also wanted to analyze who students were voting for based on different criteria. So far, our ballots have the followng: Preferred President: Obama McCain Other Ideology of Parents: **then students choose from a list like moderate, liberal, etc. Grade: **students choose a grade from 9 to 12 Gender: M or F Activities: **students may choose several from a large list of activities they are involved in What is the ONE major issue you feel is the most important in our country today: **students choose one from a list of about 12 issues So my delima is where to PUT all of the information so they can write reports on their findings. Do I put it in BASE or CALC? And for either method, I am going to need some help creating drop down / check boxes so we can do this QUICKLY. I also want them to be able to create graphs. I don't know alot about BASE to know if I can export it to a spreadsheet for that. Each student is responsible for entering about 60 ballots (we have about 1380 total students) into whatever application we need and then we'll need to compile all of that data. I would use statistical software, but I need something that all 23 of my students would have access to at home. Any suggestions? We're doing the election this week so we can report our results the day of the REAL election next week. Any help will be apprecited. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
