Treaties

The Treaties Division of Kollmitz Library, or Treaties section, contains the treaties that have been ratified by the Diet and that are currently in force. Treaties appear as amended, where applicable, and repealed Treaties are excluded. Furthermore, the Treaties section does not record treaties to which The New Inquisition may be party due to an Executive decision, but which have not been ratified into law by the Diet.

Records within the Treaties section are annotated with references as appropriate. References are listed at the bottom of each record and include the title of the Act of Diet that introduced, amended or repealed the indicated clauses, as applicable, and the respective enactment date. References also include hyperlinks to the records of the corresponding Acts maintained in the Acts of Diet section. In-text references take the form of
Quote:

[text]numeral

where the brackets enclose the relevant text and the numeral points to the corresponding reference at the bottom of the record. References at the bottom take the form
Quote:

[Amended/Repealed/Inserted] by [title of Act] on [date of enactment]

with the three fields used as applicable. The title field contains the link to the corresponding Acts of Diet section record. When a treaty is amended by a body other than the Diet, then [title of Act] is replaced by the name of that body.

Citizens interested in the legally binding treaties currently in force should research the Treaties section. The Law section contains all other law currently in force. Further interpretation of provisions of treaties may be found in the common law, as extracted by cases decided by the Reich Court of Justice.

Citizens interested in the Acts of Diet that introduced, amended or repealed a treaty or certain provisions of it should research the Acts of Diet section. The references at the bottom of records in the Treaties section can be utilized for guidance.
