The Second Treaty of Arms Convergence
Preamble
This Treaty hereby establishes the joint The Land of Kings and Emperors (hereafter the LKE) and The New Inquisition (hereafter TNI) United Imperial Armed Forces, to work in unity to advance the cause of military imperialism.
i). The New Inquisition Armed Forces and the Imperial Army of The Land of Kings and Emperors shall from now shall be commanded by the Joint Commander of the United Imperial Armed Forces (UIAF).
ii). The Joint Commander shall be empowered to organise the internal structure of the UIAF and shall direct all military actions, unless delegated to a subordinate officer.
iii). The Joint Commander shall be appointed by the Reich Elector of TNI and the Prime Minister of The LKE, with the approval of the Kaiserin of TNI and the Emperor of The LKE.
iv). The Joint Commander shall be accountable to both the Emperor of The LKE and the Reich Elector of TNI, both of whom shall be consulted on matters of direction of the UIAF. The Joint Commander may be dismissed by the agreement of the Emperor of The LKE and the Kaiserin of TNI.
v). The New Inquisition and The Land of Kings and Emperors shall retain control of the recruitment of new recruits to the UIAF within their own regions, though decisions on approval may be vetoed by the Joint Commander.
vi). Upon the ratification of this treaty in The LKE, the Emperor shall delegate responsibility for strategy, organisation, regulation and command of the Imperial Army to the Joint Commander of the UIAF for the duration of this treaty's existence. The Emperor, as Commander-in-Chief of The LKE Armed Forces, retains a veto over appointments and operations within the force.
vii). Upon the receipt of Royal Assent in The New Inquisition, the Commander of The New Inquisition Armed Forces shall delegate responsibility for strategy, organisation, regulation and command of The New Inquisition Armed Forces to the Joint Commander of the UIAF for the duration of this treaty's existence. The Commander, as functional Commander of The New Inquisition Armed Forces, retains a veto over appointments and operations within the force.
