Guidelines: All Characters 1. You must make an application for your character before being allowed to role-play. 2. When your character is accepted, the name of your account will change to the character's first and last name. When you log in, you must use that information. 3. If you are playing a student, your character will be sorted and your House will be listed on the side of your panel. 4. You may not create an Animagus ability having character. If you would like your character to become an Animagus, they must go through the proper training and request permission from the Ministry. No character under 15 will be granted allowance to enroll in training. 5. There will be no creature creating. You may not be a swamp monster, Shadow mage, shapeshifter, ancient Samurai warrior, fairie, elf, mutant hybrid werewolf, or anything else you can think of. They are not in the Harry Potter books, so they do not exist. There are however, werewolves, giants, goblins, leprechauns, centaurs, Veelas, Animagi, merepeople, vampires and Metamorphmagi. So if you want to be different then be accurately different. 6. If you want a special trait, you must first check the Unique Trait List. 7. Your characters must be realistic. There will be no natural lime green hair or an ability to draw with your mind or any sort of 'speaks seven languages and can play four different instruments and has perfect grades in every single class' type of God-Complexes. You can be special, just don't be overboard. 8. When it comes to using characters in your backstory and other, you can't unless they approve it or your two applications go in as a set, where it is very clear you collaborated on them. Guidelines: Canons 1. You can make a canon character from any generation. As long as they are canon-alive. There will be no bringing back characters from the dead or time travel. [This means anyone from the Next-Gen kids, up through all of the book era people and even into the elderly Marauders era gang. Example: Lorcan Scamander, Luna Lovegood-Scamander and Xenophilius Lovegood are all plausible characters.] 2. It is your job to go to the effort to make sure their age is correct. If it isn't, they will be rejected. 3. Not all canons have specified looks you can make those up. If the canon does have a specified look, then you must go by that. No eye color changes or anything of the sort. 4. Not all canons have specified personalities you can make those up. If the canon does have a specified personality, then you must go by that. If I see a ladies-man Harry or Emo Luna, then your character will be revoked. 5. Not all canons have specified back-stories you can make those up. If the canon does have a specified back-story, then you must go by that. Hermione is not secretly the sister of Blaise Zabini. |
