That is a rather strange offer, I believe the 500 plan costs $400 a year, so $30 a year looks like a good deal, maybe too good. When you get an e-mail with a link you have to be very careful, clicking the link could get you some sort of malware or take you to some bogus site. If you right click on the e-mail and select "Message properties" you may be able to figure out where the message actually came from. There will be a number of IP addresses included and you can check on those using this site: http://www.ip-tracker.org/ |

$30 per year or $60 per year...no image linking allowed. Ad-free Account : The Ad-free Account offers Members the ability to use the Site without seeing any third party banner advertisements when logged into your Ad-free Account (note, viewers of your images within Photobucket will see ads unless they, too, have Plus accounts and you will continue to see Photobucket offers and announcements). This account level is available for $2.49 / month, payable by the Member on a monthly recurring basis. The Ad-free Account does not allow any image linking or 3 rd party image hosting. Plus Account : The Plus Account offers several paid options that give the Member more storage, bandwidth, 3rd party image hosting, image linking and/or other services as outlined below. Please note that Plus Account subscriptions are billed annually at the commencement of the service. Notwithstanding, Photobucket may also offer a monthly billing option for its Plus Accounts (see terms and restrictions, below). Available Plus Account Plans : Photobucket offers the following Plus Account Plans: o Plus 50 Plan: 52 GB of Storage for $59.99 / Year. The Plus 50 Plan does not allow any image linking or 3rd party image hosting. o Plus 100 Plan: 102 GB of Storage for $99.99 / Year. The Plus 100 Plan allows for unlimited image linking but does not allow 3rd party image hosting. o Plus 500 Plan: 502 GB of Storage and unlimited bandwidth for $399.99 / Year. The Plus 500 Plan allows for unlimited image linking and unlimited 3rd party image hosting. |

Found these add on's while looking around. They are a fix to allow you to see the pictures in threads that Photo Bucket broke the links to. So far from what I read they are only for Chrome and Firefox. Links for Chrome https://github.com/kzahel/photobucket-embed-fix or https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embed-fix/naolkcpnnlofnnghnmfegnfnflicjjgj?hl=en Link for Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/photobucket-embedded-fix/?src=ss Since I use Firefox I installed the add on to my browser and so far I have been able to see the pictures in Hilltops thread and the Model Murdering thread starting from page one instead of that dreaded Photo Bucket picture. Again these are only for users of Chrome and Firefox. Nothing for Internet Explorer as of yet. Might be worth a look at Kevin |

That is pretty awesome Kevin. I just installed it on Chrome in about two seconds and all the lost PBucket photos came back to life on the old threads like magic ! Dan |

Good ,glad it's working for ya's. This is a good thing for viewing old threads. For those who have deleted pics or accounts, the pictures are no longer there. As an experiment I went into the full reply screen and copied a pic from photobucket. It allowed me to see it in the preview section, but I did not post it. Just wanted to see if it would work. I would not trust it to work for a post, plus it would be a waste of time because anyone not having the add on could not see it anyway. You would still need to find a new hosting site to your liking for any future posts. A lot of good infomation on these old threads and it's nice to have something that works to go back and look at them again. Kevin |
