The color is metallic black by Tamiya. This is one coat. The clear is two coats of Future.

This is about the 3rd time I painted this body. I finally got an even coat and sanded down to a nice even mat finish ready for clear.

This is after 1 coat of Future applied with a q-tip. after it sets up, I'll rub it down and re-apply.

I'm thinking, IF I could find a reasonable-source for 1/24, 1/25 slot chassis.. and some wide enough track... I'm Missing out on SO-MANY slot builds..... doing 1/43's now (HO is getting a bit TOO small for Me to be able to detail..) 1/43's aren't much better & neither are the models able to do this too...

just having some bad-luck, right @ the finishing point lately.......
both are salvageable, and almost finished.. again....
