Future Floor Wax. I must say this yields the most wettest look around. Best part is it is self levelling. The only thing you would need to worry about is keeping your parts dust free. For this build I used a laquer primer and wasn't paying attention to the purple. It is rustoleum enamel. The results were disasterous. The paint cracked like glass. So I sanded things down and layed down another coat and let it set. The next day I hit the pieces with 1000 grit to smooth out the orange peel then moved to 5000 for the final sand. Everything smoothed out rather well. Things were dull but really even. Somewhere I read up on the use of Future Floor Wax and everyone seemed pleased with the results so I began by dipping the doors. There were a few tiny bubbles but I was able to slide them off the piece with a toothpick. This all happened yesterday. So Today after work I rushed home to look things over and there was no change. Everything was completely dry but looked as wet as yesterday. The finish is soooo deep. This is the smoothest paint job I've ever done. I am elated and can't wait to begin work on the body.

Stay Tuned...

I used the course sand paper wheel on the dremel and ground down the back side ever so gently until I could see the shiny insert start to dull and begin to melt. Then I used a sharp #11 blade to make a hole and to clean up the situation. I did this while watching the Cream reunion concert from 2005.
