Well I got a phone call on the 4th of July from David (the guy who bought my Nova 11 years ago).

He wanted to know if I was interested in seeing my old 1970 Nova before it went to paint...YEAH!

I'll be there in about 15 min. Oooooooooooooooh boy!

The engine is a 454 bored out with about 700 HP. 4 speed (used to be Automatic), changed the 10 bolt to
a 12 bolt rear, original rear quarter panels as this car came from California, New front fenders and door
skins and a bunch of other things were done.

It's ready for paint & half vinyl top in the stock Goldish Brown color. Having the best painter around do
the paint job. He is even leaving the original trunk paint splatter for the most stock look you can get.

Will take pictures and post here after paint job is done.

Yes I got to go for a ride....Vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!

Bob...What a happy surprise...zilla

That must've been like a dream Bob...Out Freakin Standing...zilla !! .... I have a dream every once in a while about my '72 Grand Prix. The setting in each dream is the different, but the same underlying storyline takes place... I discover my old Pontiac in a garage or under a tarp. It always starts! Anyhow Bob, it must be great seeing it get restored with such care. Nice.

Dave,

Yes I sold this to the right guy! All the David and Daves I know are cool like dat.

He had the frame sandblasted and Powder coated. This Nova should last FOREVER!!

He Also has a 69 Camaro with a Numbers matching aluminum block that he is going to restore next.

David did the Nova first as he can drive it. He said the Camaro would be worth to much to drive it all the time when it gets done.

Nuther I dig your dream....Cars are everything.

Bob...front tires leaving the pavement (just a little) is my dream...zilla
