Oh man, the V-Dub is a total killer Bob. How cool would it be to get around in a 1:1 version! A question regarding the chrome.... photos can be very deceiving but is all the chrome stock with the model, particularly the motor and firewall? Is it BMF on the window trims, something else? The models just keep getting better, thank you.

Cheers,
Michael.

Michael, Yeah this bug is pretty cool and would make a very fun daily driver for sure.

On the Chrome matter the engine is chrome, the fender turn signals are separate
chrome pieces, the windshield wipers are chrome but, the window and side trim is
all hand painted silver.

Here is a Ford flatbed my Dad did up...

That's a beautiful paint job and a great color too!
Did your dad ever enter any contests or was this all for fun?

Slotto,

I tried to get him to enter some contest but, he didn't want to enter. It was just
for fun.

My Dad did take his cars to work to show the guys and displayed them in
the house when done.

Wait until you see some of his Wild Custom Builds. :O He should have entered
them in a contest. You will see in time. :)

The Gold Mini chopped van is just the start of HOW FAR WILL YOU GO...

Bob...you aint seen nothing yet...zilla

Pretty sure the ol' flatbed Ford has to be my favorite so far.
Almost needs something in the back. Like some hay bales...or chickens...
