Just finished this '56 Bel Air. This is the first time I've ever opened the doors and trunk on anything. I didn't know what to expect, but I learned a lot. The exterior color is Rustoleum purple and the finish is Future floor wax. The wheels are from the Testors Shezoom car.

For the power plant, I used the spare HEMI that came in the '68 Charger kit. As you can see, it fits nicely in the spacious engine bay. This finishes out the weekend by wrapping up two from 1956.

Thanks for looking.

I followed both builds closely Slotto. The final results speak for themselves, outstanding. Coming back from crazy cracked paint all the way to the sweet grill trick, the Bel Air rocks my boat. Hey, did anyone ever guess what's playing on the screen? Is it Rat Pack related by chance?

Cheers,
Michael.

There was a correct answer in the guess... the movie is Coming to America starring Eddie Murphy. One of my all time top 10 favorite movies. Thanks for the kind words Michael!

Beautiful builds Mr. Slotto!!! Some outstanding trickery on both builds, not sure which I'd pick, both are winners...RM
