I think that the approach and application by us in this game will be a good indicator of whether or not we are really getting there after a number of false dawns. NP is definitely doing things his way and his team selection and substitution decisions often cause many of us to criticise them (me included at times). Obviously we do so without all the background information (e.g. niggling injuries, internal club discipline or whatever), but some things are plain to us; I am thinking of the negative type play most frequently resorted to in the past (hopefully) by Wellens where he always seemed to be slowing down play with back or sideways passing. NP seems to have seen the advantage of also playing fast flowing football at times. We think we know that Barnsley will play a negative formation and we will have to find a way through. As usual, getting that first goal will be the most difficult against such tactics and our team must keep on trying no matter how frustrating. Being able to deal effectively with such teams will be the deciding ability to take us through the promotion barrier. |

| I think your right about how Barnsley will set themselves up. However I think there a poor side and we will make plenty of chances, so I think its about what we do. |

We seem to have played so many teams at the wrong point... e.g. Blackpool near the start of the season when they were top, Blackburn at the start, near the top, Palace & Watford as they have gone on their runs, Ipswich pulling it together post change of manager & Leeds on the back of beating Palace. Thankfully Barnsley aren't in that position! I'm probably a bit over-confident as our home record is that good - losing only to the league leaders, 1 draw when we were robbed & the rest home wins, with some good scores in there. Hopefully we'll beat them comfortably & gain a bit of revenge for last season, as that defeat really hurt us at that point in time. Just hope Nugent starts as we do seem to be a different proposition with him in the line up. |

| It'll be a fairly comfortable 2-0 win. |
