We now have 65 members, of which 30 have yet to post... Having been a lurker myself for years, I fully understand & all are welcome on here! However, if you were to write one post, to make it easy, I thought we could have a "lurkers anonymous" session (or a sort of "Introduce yourself - lite version"). Just post your name & 1 surprising Leicester City related fact about yourself & then your conscious will be clear! For example: Name: Cambridgefox Fact: I rated Stephen Hughes when he played for Leicester |

You'll do well to find someone who admits to that Cambs! He was like a lightweight version of David Oldfield. Ahhhhh David Oldfield - a player who could beat five players and then fall over. |

Ah, Daisy Oldfield. Never the best player but always tried for the 90 mins. Thommo was another. Very rarely received the ball and passed it without doing a full 360 degree spin first. Used to really bloody annoy me that did, but a good player nonetheless Edited to add, am i getting mixed up with Steve Agnew for the whirling Dervish player and not Tommo? Its far easier to judge strikers, defenders & goalies - there is something about midfield that divides opinion... Wellens & King anyone? I remember my brother getting rather heated once with poeple around us as they booed Oldfield mercilessly through 1 match - which probably wasn't helping his confidence at the time come to think of it. Mind you.. looking up Stephen Hughes, I see that he is actually now a capped international, so maybe I wasn't too far off the mark with my talent spotting ability. (Does Scotland still count as International standard???) + it wasn't even Craig Levein that capped him! |

Thommo was the one who did the spin. I liked Agnew as well, he was a more in-your-face player than Thommo. Think he got sent off v Millwall for twatting someone. I remember trying to calm Agnew down at the post Wembley 94 celebrations after he'd had a few drinks and was annoyed he didn't play in the final. Top bloke though. |
