Funny old game football, full of ups and downs. Just wanted to bring a little focus to our current plight. Fairly new owners, decent ones, going by their job in a low key way, different to the norm. Nigel come back, had a massive task of clearing out high profile, highly paid, big ego individuals. New players have arrived, Anthony, Keane, Wes, Drinkwater, Marshall, Wood. Second in the league, generally good performances. Heroes forming - Wes, never put a foot wrong, solid, disciplined and well worthy of the armband that we thought was strangely given. Anthony - a swagger, a touch of brilliance, a smile and goals not many in tjis league could score. i could carry on, but for me I am savouring this moment. They don't come often, but I am enjoying watching this lot put something good together. Lead by NP who deserves to lose the F in his name. Changed the personnel, however high profile they were. I am enjoying it, loving seeing this happen and hope we can see it across the line. Football is full of ups and downs. A club like ours you will see more downs. But at the moment I am watching Knockeart, Nugent and co give us good days. And for that I am thankful and enjoying the moment. C'mon Leicester, are us over the line. Create a cherished memory. |

Today is a massive day in the history of Leicester City. Hull are away at Millwall, a tough game for them. Palace play Charlton, a local derby for them. Watford and Boro have easier games on paper, Bolton at home and Ipswich away respectively, ones that both should win. If some of these teams drop points today, we'll be in a good place tonight. |

Great post as usual Rob. Balanced, fair, positive. Not perfect - managers, players etc - but plenty of reason for optimism. Then again, show me a Championship side - or any side in any division - with players and manager who doesn't make mistakes. Most sides in the Championship would rather have our squad and manager and fans of other Championship clubs seem quite perplexed at the moaning from a vocal but small minority amongst our supporters. |

Middlesbrough dropped points and there's now a little points gap between 5th and 6th. Boro will now be looking over their shoulders at dropping out of the top 6 rather than up at second place. The other three won but is really no surprise. There's still a hell of a long way to go yet. |
