| They now play 'try' music at the England International Rugby, which got me wondering, are they still playing Kasabian at the KP when City score? |

| Sadly yes. Goal goes in, I cheer and clap, music starts, I stop clapping, music starts, I recommence clapping. |

Shame, not that I dislike Kasabian, but, just the idea of it makes me cringe. I was surprised at the Rugby using the music. I always thought the passion was enough. |

I don't mind the goal music when we score. I'd be happy to hear it five times every game as it means we're scoring. Sometimes though I'm so absorbed in the moment it doesn't register with me. When Nugent scored v Wolves, they played Fire by Kasabian and Tom Meighan, the lead singer who sits in front of the press box, started high fiving everyone, me included. Quite surreal and bizarre! |

I think they've done it for as long at the rugby as they have at the football - if not longer. You can hear it on the TV for England internationals & it has changed a number of times... however, it did come across as particularly loud and stupid yesterday. I hated goal music with a passion when it first started, but I think I must be mellowing with age, as it didn't really bother me very much on Thursday, which was my first home game for a while... Just another part of the modern game I've come to accept. |
