MP's have voted in favour of the Gay Marriage Bill. However the majority of conservatives voted against it. Commentators are saying that this shows dissention in the Tory Party and lack of support for their leader and his policies. This is notwithstanding that it was a 'free vote', each according to his/her own conscience. But the majority of Labour MP's and Lib Dems voted in favour of it. Does this mean that they agree with Mr Cameron and his policies and support him as leader? Or are these 'commentators' full of shit as usual and trying to make something out of nothing? |

The neo socialist metropolitan intellectuals that run the BBC twist anything that's Tory, Conservative or has Cameron's name on it. Hope this helps. |

Beat me to this one Suffox (admittedly, it's taken me a couple of days to get on here), but given the comments on the Chris Huhne thread, I think it's brilliant that MPs vote for what they believe in - not what their party whip is telling them. Still, the media have their own agenda... spent all my drive in this morning listening to the BBC talking about the "bedroom tax" and coming from every angle about how it was wrong - they refused to listen to most the comments the other way in their rush to pick another fault in it. Clearly they had their own agenda on the policy and rather lost sight of the line between journalism & opinion - not for the first time. |

| Cameron should be applauded for this because it's not going to win him huge support from grassroots Tories. He did it for the country at large instead. |
