Yes it was poor, yes it was disappointing, yes there was a lack of quality, yes I left the ground feeling totally deflated but...

Nipped into the main bar for a look and the vein popping loons are in full flow and it cheered me up no end ! :IoI:

PS. 16 league games to go, three points off second with a vastly superior goal difference and a game in hand. The garden isn't totally rosy but overall I'm enjoying the season much more than I expected at the start. Apologies for positivity and perspective.

The blame for tonight goes to the prestige of the FA Cup: Pearson couldn't be bothered, the players couldn't be bothered and lets be honest, the fans couldn't be bothered, with 15K at only a tenner or a fiver a go.

Watching it, I lost the will to care whether we went through or not - I'm disgusted by what the tournament has turned into, but its a fact of modern football, so I'll accept it and a couple of good results in the league will make tonight a distant memory.

Oh and at least we didn't have to sit through another turgid half hour of extra time and penalties.

A massive win for Hull that, I was hoping it would finish 1-1.
