Coming WorldWide: October 12, 2013
X & Y Is Released Worldwide
I will continue to Update this up until the game is released. All Information that is not released then may be added if you want me to do so, but I am sure you would be able to go to any other website and get the information wanted.
Since this is the First Post I didn't want to start another thread so I just wanted to Update This Post with The Information that was received.
The Kalos Region is said to be based off of France. This can be seen in several areas: the region is about the same shape as France and is in a similar location on its continent to France; It's capital city is Lumiose City, a reference to Paris, the "City of Lights," what's more this city features a prominent tower, similar to the Eiffel Tower; the architecture seen around the city is very reminiscent of classic French architecture; in the first announcement of X and Y, they added another French reference at the beginning of the trailer as you can see Pikachu standing atop the Eiffel Tower.
The game will be available for Download on Nintendo eShop. It requires 1.7GB, approximately 14,000 blocks, of space on an SD Card.
Price of the Game as known so far is $39.99.
Due to the Analog Stick, Running will be default on X & Y for our Protagonist, to walk you must hold the B Button.
New Downloads will be available, called "Pokemon Bank" & "Poke Transporter".
Exp is now earned when you catch a Pokemon.

Pokemon Bank & Poke Transporter
Pokemon Bank:
Pokémon Bank is an application and service for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y that will allow you to deposit, store, and manage your Pokémon in private Boxes on the Internet! Pokémon Bank is a paid service, with an annual charge for usage. Pokémon Bank will be a powerful resource for players who like to obtain many different kinds of Pokémon, or for those who like to raise many Pokémon in preparation for battles and competitions!
Online Boxes: As long as you have Pokémon Bank, you'll be able to link up to your own dedicated Boxes online using your Nintendo 3DS to easily deposit and withdraw your precious Pokémon. If the worst were to somehow happen and you lost your copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y, your Pokémon would still be safe and ready to be withdrawn to a new game if they were deposited to Pokémon Bank!
Store Up To 3,000 Pokemon: It has previously been necessary to have two game systems when moving Pokémon between two different copies of Pokémon series games, and you generally had to trade Pokémon one at a time. Now with Pokémon Bank, you can deposit and withdraw Pokémon from different copies of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. All you have to do is download Pokémon Bank on your Nintendo 3DS system, insert your Pokémon X or Pokémon Y Game Card, and open the Pokémon Bank application. Pokémon Bank also works with downloadable versions of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. If you're working with multiple copies of the games, Pokémon Bank makes it easy to gather your Pokémon in one place!
Store Pokemon from Multiple Games: With Pokémon Bank, you can deposit and withdraw Pokémon from different copies of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
Move Many Pokemon: In the past, if you wanted to transfer Pokémon that you caught in other Pokémon games, you sometimes needed two game systems, and you had to move Pokémon one at a time. Now, with Pokémon Bank, you can conveniently transfer many Pokémon at once without needing two game systems. In addition, Pokémon Bank has a variety of search functions, so you can find the Pokémon you're after among all of the Pokémon you've deposited. Even if you deposit a lot of Pokémon, you won't have to worry about being unable to find the Pokémon you need!
Service Charge Info: The Pokémon Bank application and service allows you to store your Pokémon on an online server. To ensure that the service stays running worry-free for all of its users, Pokémon Bank will be a paid service. An annual charge will allow the service to be maintained long-term so it can provide support for future Pokémon titles. The service charge will also enable the management and maintenance needed to allow everyone access to the online storage. Look forward to a free trial period after the launch of Pokémon Bank. Be sure to try out the software for yourself during this time to see everything that Pokémon Bank has to offer!
Poke Transporter: When you download Pokémon Bank, you can also download the linked application Poké Transporter! When you insert a Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, or Pokémon White Version 2 Game Card into a Nintendo 3DS system, you'll be able to use Poké Transporter to transfer Pokémon from these games into their own online Boxes. Then, you can easily transfer those Pokémon into Pokémon X and Pokémon Y using Pokémon Bank. Poké Transporter is a free downloadable application for the Nintendo 3DS system that will be available along with Pokémon Bank. Note that Poké Transporter cannot return Pokémon to Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, or Pokémon White Version 2 after they have been stored in an online Box. Note: You may find yourself unable to use Pokémon Bank or Poké Transporter to deposit any Pokémon created illegally by software unauthorized by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo into your online Boxes, or to move these Pokémon between online Boxes.
Mechanics
Battle Mechanics: Sky Battles:
A new type of battle is introduced within Pokémon X & Y, the Sky Battle. These battles can only be participated in with Pokémon of the Flying-type, or those who have the ability Levitate and allow for battles completely in the air.
Horde Encouters:
Horde Encounters are a new kind of Wild Encounter where a horde of Pokémon appear and challenge you. These can be all of the same Pokémon, or multiple species. Targeting the right Pokémon is key here, as moves like Rock Slide hit all.
Mega Evolution:
In the Pokémon series up until now, there has been a limit on how many times each Pokémon could evolve. However, Mega Evolution is a different kind of Evolution, one that surpasses that limit.
Mega Evolution is described as an Evolution beyond all Evolution, a transformation found only in the Kalos region. It has also been called the greatest mystery of Pokémon.
In addition to far greater strength, Mega Pokémon may also see their Ability change, or even their type! Check out some of the Mega Pokémon that await you in your next adventure!
Mega Evolution is not possible for all Pokémon. Only certain Pokémon, under certain conditions, can achieve Mega Evolution. One of those conditions is a special item called a Mega Stone. These special stones exist for every Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, and each is named for the Pokémon to which it grants power.
To use a Mega Stone, give it to your Pokémon to hold. Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution will gain access to their potential only if they first carry a Mega Stone into battle. Other things are needed for Mega Evolution to succeed, and those secrets will be explained later!
Some of the many Mega Stones seem to be hidden in secret places in the Kalos region. Finding every one of them will be one of the challenges awaiting you in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y!
The truth behind why some Pokémon can Mega Evolve is becoming more clear. When you look closely at the main character's left arm, you'll notice a bracelet called the Mega Ring. When a Pokémon is holding its Mega Stone, the Mega Ring and Mega Stone resonate, triggering Mega Evolution. It is said that the strong bond between a Pokémon and its Trainer also plays an important role in making these two items resonate.
Super Training:
Pokémon gain experience and grow stronger by battling with other Pokémon. In Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, that's not the only way to help your Pokémon grow. Check out a brand-new method of Pokémon training: Super Training!
In Super-Training Regimens, one part of Super Training, your Pokémon will train themselves!
The six values that define your Pokémon are known as stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed. The stats for every species of Pokémon grow at a unique rate, and even another Pokémon of the same species at the same level will have different stats.
The rate at which these stats will grow depends on an underlying set of stats called base stats. Each of the six main stats has its own base stat. With the new Super Training feature in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, players will be able to raise those base stats far more easily than ever before.
For a more casual way to help your Pokémon grow, use training bags for an easy boost to your Pokémon’s growth with Core Training! You'll earn training bags when you complete Super-Training Regimens.
With Super Training, it’s not your Pokémon’s level that goes up but its base stats, the underlying values that define your Pokémon's skills in battle.
As these base stats increase, your Pokémon can increase its HP, Attack, or other stats beyond those of another Pokémon of the same species at the same level. These base stats could be increased using items and other methods in previous Pokémon titles, but in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, you'll be able to raise them far more easily than ever before, thanks to Super Training. This will lay the groundwork for more Pokémon Trainers to aim for the very top!
Understand your Pokémon’s stats at a glance with the Effort-o-Meter! Check a Pokémon’s Effort-o-Meter graph on the Super Training main screen to get a quick and easy look at how your Pokémon has grown.
Each Pokémon has some stats that will grow more easily than others and some stats that will take more work to raise. The inside (green) part of the Effort-o-Meter graph shows the stat levels relevant to each Pokémon species. The outside (yellow) part of the graph shows the base stat increases that your Pokémon has achieved through Super Training. There is a limit to how much any single Pokémon can increase its base stats through training. The meter on the right side of the screen illustrates that limit.
Each stat, such as HP and Attack, has its own effect on battle, as described below. HP: This is your Pokémon’s health. If your Pokémon’s HP falls to 0, it will faint. Attack: This stat affects how much damage a Pokémon can deal to opponents using physical moves. Defense: This stat affects how much damage a Pokémon takes from an opponent’s physical moves. Sp. Atk: This stat affects how much damage a Pokémon can deal to opponents using special moves. Sp. Def: This stat affects how much damage a Pokémon takes from an opponent’s special moves. Speed: This stat affects which Pokémon gets to act first in battle.
Overworld Mechanics: Riding Pokemon:
One of the first new mechanics for people to notice is that you can ride Pokémon in certain areas. At the moment, it's only known that you can ride Gogoat within Lumiose City. But, it is also known that you can ride Rhyhorn in the Mountain Area. It has also been confirmed that you can ride Skiddo.
Trainer Customization:
When you first select your character, and select a gender, you have the ability to choose between three different presets. These alter the character's hair and skin tone to be more personalised to your own appearance.
That's not all, however, as you have the ability to later get various bits of clothing and accessories throughout the Kalos region. You can then return home and change your appearance at any time. We'll be providing a list of all the items of clothing as the game is released.
Located in most of the cities within the region, you'll be able to find Boutiques that sell various clothes. In each Boutique in the region, there is a unique style to go with the essence of the city meaning that there will not be much overlap in the products each sell. The boutiques will sell clothing on their own, but also will have full pre-set styles for you to choose. In addition to the clothing, the Boutiques have an area for you to get your character's appearance updated. This allows you to update your character's hair in both style and colour allowing it to be a better approximation of yourself.
Once you have updated your appearance in the game, your appearance in the Player Search System and the Pokémon Global Link gets updated. This will allow for you to fully integrate your new persona with the game. There appear to be no limits on the amount of times you can change your appearance.
Trainer PR Video:
After you choose a style, visit the PR Video Studio. This facility will let you make a promotional video that reflects your style, called a Trainer PR Video. Trainer PR Videos are 10-second films that feature you and your Pokémon. Choose your expressions, poses, background music, camera angles, and more to create a unique video! You can use a recommended style to make a video in moments, or make a video based on your preferences, with every second specially crafted. Language Selection:
Unlike previous games, these games will allow you to select the language on the cartridge rather than based upon where you purchased the game. Languages are English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, or Korean.
Photo Shots:
Dotted around the Kalos region, there are various areas where you can have someone take a picture of you. These photographs can be customised using various poses, as well as controlling the zoom, contrast and brightness of the photo. When these photos are taken, they can then be uploaded to the Pokémon Global Link for sharing with your friends, and can even be posted to a social network such as Facebook and Twitter.
Accessories:
Rollerblades, A Bike, and Changing Outfits. Will Update more as information comes.
Pokemon Amie:
The Pokémon Amie is a new feature introduced in Pokémon X & Y and utilises the game's 3D captabilities, along with the touch screen, to give you a level of interaction with the Pokémon never been seen before. With this mode, your Pokémon can be brought into the fray for you to interact with them.
This interaction ranges from feeding your Pokémon, to petting them and even playing with them. You can then mimic their movements and control them through the touch screen. Feeding them, using the special food called Pofure, is done by holding the food in front of their mouth on the touchscreen. If you let go of it, it will drop down and the Pokémon will be disgruntled.
To access Pokémon Amie, all you have to do is press one of the tabs on the bottom screen at any time when in the overworld. This will take you over to the Pokémon Amie tab and will have your lead Pokémon there. From there, you have the ability to enter Pokémon Amie with that Pokémon, change the Pokémon that is being focused.
Pokemon Amie Stats: Like previous secondary features, Pokémon Amie has a few ways to track the progress of your Pokémon. There are three stats, each measured by five icons to determine how well they have been trained in that field: •Friendliness: Determines how happy your Pokémon is with you. •Hunger: Determines how much Pofure your Pokémon needs. •Play: Determines how much your Pokémon has been played with. It's currently unclear on how much these stats affect the Pokémon and the various features of Pokémon Amie.
Effects In Battle: The unique feature with Pokémon Amie is that after you have utilised the feature, you will come to see various effects in battle. These features range from superficial to largely beneficial for the trainer which allows for greater strategy in battle. Most of them occur randomly, with the rate currently unclear. The effects known are as follows: •Text: The introduction message, and various statements throughout battle change in context. •Critical Hit Ratio: The ratio of Critical Hits is increased. •Evasion: The Pokémon's evasion is increased. The following may be attributed to Pokémon Amie based on the visual representation, but it still isn't clear. •Paralysis: The Pokémon has a chance of healing itself from paralysis. •Survival: The Pokémon has a chance of enduring a hit which would have knocked it out.
Pokemon Search Systerm (PSS) + Features
Pokemon Search System (PSS):
Connect and play with other Trainers at any time with the new Player Search System (PSS), which allows you to find other people playing Pokémon X and Pokémon Y! You'll connect to other players nearby or around the world through the Internet. You can even communicate with players you've never had any contact with before.
All you need to do to communicate with other players on the PSS is to tap their icons. Then you can easily choose to trade or battle with them. That's not all the PSS can do, so look forward to more info on this exciting feature in the future!
You're always connected to the world with the PSS! You can connect not only to players nearby, but also to players all around the world. Using the PSS, you can do a variety of things, starting with trading and battling Pokémon. But as you'll see, there's much more to the PSS!
Holo Caster:
Use the Holo Caster to get messages from people far away, such as your four friends or the professor.
You can also get reports about the people you have passed by using StreetPass on your Holo Caster. Plus, receive news bulletins about Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, such as information on upcoming competitions!
You can get the most up-to-date information using StreetPass or your Internet connection, even when you aren't playing the game or when you have your system in Sleep Mode.
Battle Spot:
With Battle Spot, you can use your Internet connection to battle with players from around the world.
Compete in casual Free Battles for everyday challenges, or take on tougher Rating Battles to see how you rank against the competition!
Global Trade Station (GTS):
Trade Pokémon with other Trainers around the world using the Global Trade Station! Decide which Pokémon you want to offer in trade and what kind of Pokémon you want to receive in return. If a matching partner can be found anywhere around the world, your trade will be completed.
Previously, you could trade via the GTS only for Pokémon you'd already registered in your Pokédex by seeing or catching them. For the first time in the main Pokémon series, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y allow you to receive a Pokémon not yet registered in your Pokédex via GTS trade!
Wonder Trade:
Wonder Trade is a new form of Pokémon trading where you pick a Pokémon to offer and it will be instantly traded for another Pokémon offered by someone else around the world. The thrill of Wonder Trade is that you won't have any idea which Pokémon you'll get until it appears. Who knows?
You might even find yourself getting a rare Pokémon that you never expected!
O-Powers:
O-Powers are special powers that will help you progress through your adventure. These O-Powers come in many forms. Some powers may temporarily increase your stats, while others may make it easier to catch wild Pokémon. Still others may increase the Exp. Points or prize money you get from battle.
The useful effects of your O-Powers are not just for you—you can also offer them to other Trainers around you so they can benefit from them, too. If a nearby player uses an O-Power, it will be displayed through your PSS, and you'll be able to use that O-Power yourself!
You can also specifically choose another Trainer and choose which O-Power to use on him or her. Now you can work together with players from anywhere to help succeed in your adventures!
Shout-Outs:
The Shout-Out function lets you share your feelings and accomplishments with other players. Your Shout-Out will be displayed to other players who are nearby or connected to the Internet.

I think if they're going to make a 3d game, they've gotta step it up. I get it, >700 Pokemon is a lot of artwork, but come on... Super Smash Bros Melee/Brawl has a hellalotmore art in 3d art. They've remade N64 and Gamecube games for DS (some of the first DS games ever, too) as well as on 3DS (also some of the first 3DS games as well), so the system is clearly capable of handling better. I'm sure they might have good things to bring to the series with this pair, but for now, it's just pathetic. The battles are ok, but overworld is just terrible. I'm serious- this looks like a project done by first-year graphic designers who were too lazy to reach for the B.
As for everything else, I think the push to the 3DS is to bring one of the longest-lasting consumer bases over to the 3DS to expand their sales there, and I know a lot of people are against this move, but it was going to happen eventually.
I think it looks cool, I like having more and new pokemon in the game. From what I saw of the pokemon, I would probably get pokemon Y version and start with the fire fox (so cute!) As for the praphics, if you look at the pokemon main site, it says right on the bottom: "Game images are not final", which could mean anything, but I assume it means they are still working on them.
I think they're taking way to big a step with the visuals in this game. I can't really voice my opinion on the overworld yet, but I can say it looks to much like the real world rather than the fantasy world they created with Red and Blue. The starters look even lazier than BW/BW2 and I'm a bit sick of the Blue/Red color scheme for the male trainer. Also, what's with the names X and Y? I can honestly say that Pokemon is headed into the ground with the amount of originality going into these more recent games. That's all I have to say for now.
The X and Y are reflecting the general shapes of the legendaries for the series. As for the pokemon, I don't think it will be bad. I remember looking at the Diamond/Pearl Pokemon when they first came out and thought "Wow, these pokemon look stupid". Now, they are almost natural to the game, same with b/w. I'm sure once again, after the game is released, the pokemon won't seem bad. And after all, they're going into the 700's, probly 800's with this game, comming up with new, original pokemon can't be easy.
Legendary Names: Xerneas and Yveltal. Apparently shifting to Norse mythology from what I have read from other forums. In Norse mythology, there's this thing called Yggdrasil. It's basically this immense tree which holds nine worlds of sorts. The creatures that supposedly inhabit it are eagles (the pink, flying legend), deers (the deer legend) and dragons (3rd game!?). First 3D Pokemon. 3 dimensions: X=Width=Land Pokemon, Y=Height=Flying Pokemon, Z=Depth=Sea Pokemon. All connects back to the Norse mythology. Someone mentioned to me that they saw an Eevee in the trailer. X and Y deal with genetics. Maybe Eeveelutions are in the works. MAYBE A BUG EEVEE!?!?!?
Needless to say: I hate the 3DS, love Pokemon, and love Norse Mythology. I will be saving money for the 3DS.

That's cool insight, Tezz. Maybe they've got a degree of creativity in these games after all. I just wish they weren't so lazy with some things. For example, in GSC, FrLg, and HgSs, they actually rebuilt Kanto to be way different from the original RBY one. In BW2, they just copied everything exactly- even a lot of the people say the same things in BW and BW2 despite the multiple years that have supposedly passed by. I know with a new region, they can't be copying too much, but I hope they do a better job than the Unova one. In Unova, it's all just a straight path one town to the next from beginning to end, unlike every other game where you had to find out where you had to go next and it wasn't super obvious with people telling you.
Making you think about what to do next is what makes games like Zelda great- you have so many things you don't have to do but can, and they're not forced upon you. Instead, in these good games, you explore to figure out what's next, finding these optional things that make the game fun. Alternatively, you can just speedrun the game without all that other shit getting in the way (like dance contests, film festivals, fashion shows...). Pokemon used to be like that, but no longer.
The other thing I miss in the old games is that they don't treat you like it's your first time playing. You have the option to talk to people and learn things, but you don't need to be told how to run, use a bike, battle, catch Pokemon, use items... Honestly, what's with it taking an hour to finally get past all the tutorials? I've been playing this game for 12 years! Please, in this new game, realize a good majority of the market already knows Pokemon, so give us the option to skip the tutorials!
I believe in in Mystery dungeon they had an option similar to that, but yes, unless they add some new feature, I would like to have a disable option for tutorials that we already have seen a lot of times.
I hope its more creative and fun then the video makes it look. The new starter grass type looks dumb! That makes me sad lol I would so choose the fire type fox!!! The legendary deer looks really cool!!! Even more cool now that I see what tezz has to say about it lol.
I don't really have a opinion until the game is released but I wish the Pokemon looked more original lol I know all the pokemon in 6th Gen arnt released yet but almost all the Pokemon I've seen look like something based off of real life like the fire starter is a Fox the water is a Toad. But I have to admit the Y legendary Pokemon looks amazing. Ever since 5th Gen they have looked weird, they almost look more like Digimon to me xD I kinda want more Pokemon that arnt based off of something in real life lol like Hitmonlee, you couldn't even tell what he was like but now all pokemon are either based off of animals like Vanilluxe is a ice cream cone, Heatmor anteater lol idk I just hope they look more unreal other then a Pokemon that looks like Real life animals or items. A good example is the Pokemon in Enders game, most of his Pokemon arnt based off of something in real life -As far as I know xD-
Yeah but it seems like almost every Pokemon is based on something in real life lol Like theirs 15 types of deer Pokemon 15 toads that stuff. You can only have so many deer Pokemon lol -Deer was a example lol I know theirs not 15 types of deers ;P-

They haven't made any dolphins either. DOLPHINS!
I do agree about the creativity part. Like, I still don't understand what Chansey is supposed to be, but I still love the design anyway. Now they're based too strongly and color-changing is as far as they go in creativity.
Additionally there has been speculation on the secondary typings of the starters with the fire also showing what appear to be psychic moves, the water displaying fighting-like moves, and the grass showing something looking like dark. I've suggested the backwards triangle before. And I love it. It would be so cool. I hope its true.
Those typings are most likely going to be for the future evolutions of the new starters. They've already been confirmed to be pure fire, water, and grass for the basic stage.
So who are going to be the completely op pokes this gen. I really want to see stall get something like a better rapid spinner and a better spin blocker. Jelliscent was good but we need more. Skipping the tutorial would be nice too and I also want to be given the running shoes quickly. I kind of wish you could make your own pokemon after you complete the post game. You start off with a number of bst and give it to stats. People may overspam moves but maybe it could cost you something for the good moves. This'd be fun but gamefreak would make spore cost next to nothing. I wander what pikachu and breloom's buffs are going to be.

We won't get any of that. Sorry, but Nintendo underestimates how many of us are returning fans. I wish it was more like gen 1 where you had to figure it all out on your own.
The Region: The Karos Region (seems to be based upon France). The main city seems to be Miare City [Serebii] Artwork: There is customization on the trainers. From hair colour to skin tone, it seems in the leaks. New Pokemon!: These four little beauties:
Image
'Serebii'
First, the Pokémon on the far right is called Gogoat (ゴーゴート literally Gohgohto) and is the Riding Pokémon. It's Grass-type, 1.7m and 91.0kg. You can actually ride this Pokémon in the field. It can learn Horn Leech The lizard is called Elikiteru (エリキテル) and is a Electric/Normal-type. It is the Generation Pokémon and is 0.5m and 6.0kg. It has a new move called Parabola Charge which heals the user while damaging opponents. It uses solar rays to generate electricity The bird is called Yayakoma (ヤヤコマ) and is the Japanese Robin Pokémon. It is Normal/Flying, 0.3m and 1.7kg. It announces itself with a beautiful voice. It can use the move Nitro Charge The panda is called Yancham ( ヤンチャム) and is the Naughty Pokémon. It is Fighting-type, 0.6m and 8.0kg. It has a new move called Parting Remark
To be honest, the lizard thing looks like a pre-Evolution of Mawile, which is much needed.
Well, apparently Nintendo Direct had a segment about XY. What was revealed:
-Unsurprisingly, Fairy-type was revealed. And included in this type are Sylveon, Gardevoir, Jigglypuff, and Marill. (The last three have it as an additional type, which makes Jigglypuff Normal/Fairy. Strange...) Two new attacks in this type have also been revealed: Moonblast (which Sylveon can learn; it can lower Sp Atk) and Fairy Wind (which Gardevoir can learn). In addition to being super effective to Ice and weak against Poison, it's confirmed to be super effective against Dragon. -Two new Pokemon have been revealed. First off, we have Noivern. Flying/Dragon. (Flying as the primary type? That's unexpected.) It can learn a new attack called Boombuster, which can damage all other Pokemon on the field. Sounds like a good move if you don't mind hitting your allies in the process. Second is Vivillon. Bug/Flying. Capable of learning Struggle Bug. -There's a new interacting feature called Pokemon-amie. It looks.... interesting... -Looking through screenshots of Pokemon-amie, apparently the male player is named Xavier. Charles anyone? -And finally, it's been revealed that XY will be released worldwide on October 12.
All this can be seen in this new gameplay trailer.
If there's anything I missed, I'll try to edit in soon.
-Starting off with the new Pokemon (from the trailer that was shown much earlier than intended). Their artwork is also shown below. The seaweed-thing is Skrelp, and is Poison/Water. The crab Pokemon is Clauncher, and is a Water-type. The bird is Fletchling's evolved form, Talonflame, and is Fire/Flying. -There also seems to be a new lion cub Pokemon a Fire-type, but there's not anything else about it. Not even a name. Or image yet. -Introducing the new type of wild battle, Horde Encounters. In these, one of your Pokemon will face 5 opposing Pokemon. -Introducing the new type of battle, Sky Battles. These battles are limited to Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with the ability Levitate. -You can choose from one of 7 languages to play the game (English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Korean). -PSS (Player Search System) allows player to search for others locally and globally to battle and trade. People met this way are split into Friends, Acquaintances, and Passersby (met through Streetpass). It can hold up to 100 friends. It also syncs with the 3DS Friend List. -Backwards compatibility is being worked on. -As expected, the Fairy-type was made to balance the Dragon-type. -Online battles haven't changed at all really. But now, you can select music for the battle. -Gogoat isn't the only Pokemon you can ride. You can also ride on Pokemon like Rhyhorn for certain situations. -EVs and IVs will be more visible. -Nothing can be announced in regard to DLC. -Connecting with Pokemon via Pokemon-amie can result in various in-battle benefits, like more critical hits or higher evasion. -Still only one save file. -The number of new Pokemon isn't revealed yet. -Nothing regarding the villainous team(s). -There will be various types of transportation. Some are localized to the part of the region. -8-direction movement has been confirmed (even though we've already seen this).
Man, that was a lot of stuff. I'm sorry if I've forgotten anything in all this, but that'd just show how much was said in all of this.
I'm guessing this is the lion cub Pokemon sighted yesterday. It's name is Shishiko, the Lion Cub Pokemon (yeah....). It's Fire/Normal, and able to learn a new move called Battle Cry, which lowers the opponent's Attack.
This is Furabebe, the Lone Flower Pokemon. It's a Fairy-type Pokemon able to learn Fairy Wind.
CoroCoro Scan
Here we have Vivillon with its pre-evolutions, Kofukimushi and Kofuurai. The latter is most likely the Spewpa mentioned on the foreign sites. Both of them are Bug-types.
Here we have two new characters. On the left is Pansy, a photographer from Lumiose City. On the right is Viola, the Gym Leader of Hakudan City. She specializes in Bug-types.
Trainer Sprites
The starting town is Asame Town. The three characters here are all starting their journeys at the same time as you: (from left to right) Tieruno, Toraba, and Sara. You also befriend the opposite gender character, either Callum or Serena (Japanese names). Also, you have a Rhyhorn in the front yard.
is there a rule about how much you can post in a row :3
Okay, so the US site has been updated with what CoroCoro has revealed.
Kofukimushi is known as Scatterbug. Kofuurai is confimed to be the Spewpa mentioned on the foreign sites. Shishiko is known as Litleo. And Furabebe is known as Flabébé
The move Battle Cry is known as Noble Roar. Like Boomburst, it's a Normal-type attack.
Asame Town is known as Vaniville Town. Hadakun City is known as Santalune City. Apparently, you get the Roller Skates here.
Turns out the main characters' names are Calem and Serena. So that Xavier was the name whoever was playing gave their character. My bad.
Sara is known as Shauna. Tieruno is Tierno. Apparently, he's trying to make the best Pokemon Dance team. I'm guessing that's the new contest-thing in Kalos. Toraba is known as Trevor. Apparently, you get your Pokedex from him. Pansy is known as Alexa. And I goofed, as she's actually a journalist. And she's actually Viola's older sister. Speaking of Viola, she keeps her name.
HONEDGE the ??? Pokemon Ghost/Steel Typing 2'07'' 4.4 lbs. Known Moves: Swords Dance (lol, unexpected)
It is now known that Honedge comes into being when a departed spirit possesses a sword that once belonged to humans. It can use the blue cloth attached to its hilt as nimbly as an arm. Pokémon Trainers who carelessly take this blade in hand may find the blue cloth wrapping itself around them and draining their energy.
The next batch of CoroCoro information has been released and this batch showcases more information on the upcoming games Pokémon X & Y. It is the Aggressive Pokémon, is 2.1m tall, weighs 136kg, and has the ability Iron Fist. It is Fighting/Dark-type.
