NOTE: The rules have changed slightly since Game 1. If you are a returning player, please re-read the rules. Assassin Premise: The game umpire gives you the name of your target. Your objective is to find that player and defeat them in battle. Upon a successful assassination, you will be assigned a new target. Be wary however, for you are also being hunted. You must be able to defend yourself against the assassin sent against you! The player with the highest combined total of kills and counter-kills wins! General Rules: 1. [HH] members only. 2. Each game will last a maximum of two weeks. You have seven days to earn as many points as possible. Also, if you fail to log in to the server for two consecutive days at any point, you will be removed from the game in order to keep the game fair. You will also be removed if you are inactive for five of the fourteen days. 3. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER tell anyone except the game umpire ANYTHING about who your target is, who’s targeting you, who you’ve eliminated, or anything else pertaining to the game. Information must stay classified to preserve the integrity of the game. 4. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER tell anyone except the game umpire ANYTHING about who your target is, who’s targeting you, who you’ve eliminated, or anything else pertaining to the game. Information must stay classified to preserve the integrity of the game. This rule is here twice for a reason. I want you to understand it completely. You will seriously screw the game up if you start telling everyone about it. 5. Assassinations can be performed in any tier (except BANNED or Uber), using any clauses except Disallow Spectators), and at any time except in Safe Zones. 6. Disallow Spectators must be OFF for all assassination attempts. It's up to you to ensure there are no witnesses. 7. Each kill is worth one point. Each counter-kill is worth one point. The last man standing (if there is one) gains an additional bonus point for surviving the entire game. 8. If you are assassinated, you are out. If you are counter-killed, you are out. Either way, you still keep your total of kills but cannot earn any more. Performing an Assassination: -To successfully assassinate your target, you must defeat them in a battle that is not part of a Safe Zone (described below) and in which no spectator sees the last turn or the outcome of the battle (Disallow Spectators must be DISABLED). -Spectators may see the beginning or middle of the battle but an assassination fails if any spectator sees the final move. -At the beginning of an assassination attempt (after the battle has begun and before the first turn) you MUST tell the target that you are their assassin. -If you fail to assassinate your target (they beat you in battle), you have been counter-killed and are then out of the game yourself. -Battles in which you (the assassin) win but the spectator rule is violated, neither player is eliminated. However, if you lose an assassination battle (as assassin) and there are spectators, you are still eliminated by means of counter-kill i.e. counter-kills never fail. IMPORTANT: You MUST save the log for the battle. In order to report your kill (or your own death), you must send a PRIVATE forum message to the game umpire containing the unaltered log from the battle. A screenshot uploaded to imgur would also be an acceptable means of reporting a kill. Safe Zones: Safe Zones are certain conditions in which an assassination cannot be performed. The game is completely suspended and does not apply for any of the following situations:
Activity: If you join this game, you are expected to stay active on the server and work towards completing your assassinations. The game umpire has the right to eliminate any player who goes inactive on the server or who seems to be making no attempt at playing. Cheating: Attempting to cheat in any way (asking for information pertaining for other peoples' targets, failing to report when you are counter-killed, etc. will result in elimination. Also, changing your name so your hunter cannot find you could be considered cheating if done for extended periods time. Deliberately announcing that people should watch your battle after your assassin has revealed himself would also be cheating. Current Game Umpire: Current Game Status: Game 2 Over. Game 3 starting soon! Players Enrolled in Current Game: Previous Winners Game 1- dragontamer74pe Game 2- Moze 22 Edited by Solace, Apr 27 2013, 10:51 PM.
