well its like those people who are always going to see new movies, video games are like movies where you control what happens and you get to shoot lots of nazis or arabs.

SimCity isn't like that at all, however.

Also, The Sims isn't like that. I've never played.
The Sims is the most sold game ever, because women buy it. I hate soap opera.

Real-Time Strategy (RTS) isn't running around with a gun, it's managing an economy and an army. That's telling 200 guns where to run.

Portal, one of the highest rated games ever, was a physics puzzle game. With ample servings of awesome.

I game socially. So, it's with friends. So if you mentally replace whatever game we're talking about with "basketball", we're actually really cool. :P

Seriously, so much fun.
Just wish it were longer.

not all the time,
the truth is i don't like it because i'm not very good at basketball, and i can play netball. That is why, but also basket ball sucks cos doesn't require as much skill at netball

Well i just finished my evil evil english studies essay

Evil is right. English Studies is annoying the hell out of me lately. We've just done poetry, and I have to say, I've developed an unhealthy hatred for TS Eliot.

Fortunately, we're moving onto Hamlet now, and Hamlet is love.

What are you guys doing atm?

English Studies

Different school, same severely evil ickyness.
Just finishing up paired text study on "The Kite Runner" (brilliant) and "The Running Man" (don't waste your time). Due to start poetry next term, looking forward to it because it seems like it will be so much easier. Will not be doing Hamlet, have already done King Lear.

We did that in year 10. Worst book to study, ever. Not too bad to just read, but awful to analyse.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect... but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly.... timey-wimey.... stuff.

You know guys, If this turns into a discussion on the one school we go to and the people we know from there, it's not going to be terribly welcoming to new members from other places; heaven forbid other age groups.

You raise an excellent point.
Talking about high school is undesirable anyway. The internet is supposed to be my escape from such things

Petrol prices are very high and going up to very high levels.

Whether or not they are too high is a difficult judgement to make.
Can we possibly put too high a price on the health of the planet? I don't think so!

They are a female archetype named after one particular person.

Their namesake is an abominable, belligerent personality bereft of all the recognised trappings of intelligence (reason, literacy) for the simplest worst reason - she is quite painfully stupid. She has negative personality traits beyond pugilism and self-righteousness, such as inappropriate and unwarranted clinginess. She is also in the realm of the inconsiderate with her willingness to unburden her woes on others without invitation.
Also, Tamika is shallow, and seeks to augment herself with breast implants - where we have reached a consensus that losing weight would be far more appropriate.
The pictures she posts online indicate she also has a warped self image: she seems to think she is attractive. Without this radiating from her, she could well be; but the combination of her idiocy with her egotism is repulsive.

She is not only a specimen of an overweight bogan (this is variously 'white trash' or 'redneck' or 'chav' overseas, for our readers' benefit), but is something of a cretin. There is a high incidence of this in the social group I have just identified, but she truly excels in the art of making people lose their faith in humanity.

It's one in the morning, and I write like a pretentious twit at this time of night. Mea culpa.
The real me comes out? :P
