Back Cover Blurb:
She was born in Detroit...on an automobile assembly line, but she's no ordinary automobile. Deep within her chassis lives an unholy presence. She is Christine – a read & white 1958 Plymouth Fury whose unique standard equipment includes an evil, indestructible vengeance that will destroy anyone in her way. She seduces 17-year-old Arnie Cunningham, who becomes consumed with passion for her sleek, rounded, chrome-laden body. She demands his complete & unquestioned devotion & when outsiders seek to interfere, they become the victims of Christine's horrifying wrath.

Easily the best Stephen King adaptation I've ever seen. I didn't used 2 be a fan of this film, but after rewatching twice during my reading of the novel, I have a new-found appreciation 4 this film. It cuts out some of the more overcomplicated aspects of the novel & gets right 2 business by focusing on Christine being evil instead of possessed & it works greatly in the film's favor. It also ft. 1 of my fav soundtracks by Carpenter, so I'd definitely recommend ppl giving this another chance if they haven't since it worked out well 4 me.

ugh IK, yet all these ppl were bitching about it on this blu ray forum, like...they literally did showroom spreadsheets in magazines 4 the Plymouth Fury & I assume other cars way back when, so, not only is the style ingenious, but the little description below Christine's showroom spread is just the icing on the cake >>>> :pussypop:
