![]() IMDB Blurb: A family in 1630s New England is torn apart by the forces of witchcraft, black magic and possession. I can't @ the fact that we didn't already have a thread 4 this. Not only is it quite possibly THE. best period piece I've ever seen, but it's probz the best straight-up horror film of the yr. There's nothing bad I could find 2 say about this insane little movie, it's everything I'd hoped it would be & more & while I haven't watched it as many times as I did w/ It Follows last yr, I'm almost positive I'll be rewatching once again sometime soon becuz of how great the movie is.

always happy to see this thread bumped up! Such an amazing impact movie! 2016 didn't see this movie coming, and it shook, it slayed, and stands as the best horror movie in recent years |

What I find surprising is how little ppl even talk about it anymore. Every1 got blown away & then...everything died??? Like, I don't get it, I always feel like watching the movie IMMEDIATELY after I rewatch it, so, what's w/ all these motherfuckers?
