Area X: mysterious, remote, and concealed by the government as an environmental disaster zone for more than 30 years. But strange forces are gathering in this pristine wilderness protected by an invisible, deadly border. The secret agency known as the Southern Reach has sent in eleven expeditions to discover the truth about Area X. Now, the twelfth will attempt to succeed where all others have failed… This is the story of that twelfth expedition, narrated by the biologist attached to the mission: a reticent, misanthropic woman who brings her secrets to Area X.

Alex Garland's follow-up to Ex Machina is an adaptation of the first book of this series: http://w11.zetaboards.com/The_Writers_Haven/topic/10583683/1/#new
A great cast led by Natalie Portman has me excited for this adaptation.

It's on amazon so I'll watch it eventually, definitely before this comes out.

And you are... a zombie bride?
You had me at Alex Garland. Ex Machina was amazing and held up remarkably well watching it again, and as for the movies he merely wrote, I loved 28 Days Later and have heard great things about all his others (I really need to see them). And Natalie Portman's also in this? That just makes this even better.

Sunshine is amazing, one of my favorite sci-fi films.
