IMDB Blurb:
A laundry-folding machine has been possessed by a demon from Hell, causing it to develop homicidal tendencies.

Now, I don't know WHERE the stream I watched this from got the rip from a blu ray that it got it cuz the only blu rays 4 this r yet 2 be released copies from Germany & Japan, but I'll be DAMNED if this movie didn't just look as beautiful as can be. Like, the blu ray alone is a sight 2 behold w/ all these glorious pops of colors that u can just TELL. that this was directed by Tobe Hooper (& frankly, I might just have 2 buy 1 of them just becuz of all the color). He always loves his wild ass colors & u could spot a movie directed by him a mile away just by something that seems odd, but totally fitting @ the exact same time in the color department (it reaches complete comic book levels w/ the wild plot & shot composition here, istg  ). As 4 the short story it was based off of, I've never read it, but it's reportedly hilarious, I mean, how could it NOT be, it's about a fucking Devil-possessed pressing machine, of all things, but the fact that ppl keep completely MISSING all of the satire in Tobe Hooper's work is downright laughable in of itself. These r the same exact motherfuckers that'll suck his dick till the cows come over TCM being a pinnacle of horror (& it is, srry bout it, Shawn, I used 2 hate ha 2 :dontdoit: ) w/out seeing the VERY. same humor slapping every1 in the fucking face. Like, God damn, the family is an exaggeration of Southern monstrosity & ffs, Robert Englund looks like a fucking grotesque & cartoonishly evil version of Colonel Sanders running a God damned sweatshop instead of selling fried chicken in this (if u were 2 ask me, this is much more of a satirical supernatural neo-noir than it is a str8 up horror satire what w/ it transposing B&W 4 bright pops of color & an overall pulpy universe 4 the archetypes 2 operate around in, which could explain y it was hated as much as it has been...). HOW.BLIND.COULD.U.BE. I honest thought Graveyard Shift was underrated, but this is on another level, y'all. Even if Hooper walked off set after most of the filming was done (he's done this so many times, I can't :wah: ), it's STILL. a hell of a whole lot better than ppl ever give it credit 4. So, coming just behind The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 4 me outta all the films Hooper has directed that I've seen, I'mma give this 7.5 horrendously CGIed 2 hell living pressing machines that r thankfully absent from most of the running time outta 10. :getitgirl:
