Bout damn time we get an R-rated movie just for being God damn terrifying. Looks like 2013 doing it right. :legend:

It kind of shocks me though because you're supposed to have your reasoning when rating a movie (violence, language...), but the fact that they just said it was too scary just sounds ridiculous, but then I think the MPAA is ridiculous all around. I wonder what the description is going to be when they release the rating on a theatrical poster. Anyone wanna take a guess?

Excited about the rating. Who knows, as silly as that MPAA announcement sounds, it can be horrifying! Like Insidious horrifying.

The fact that Joey King is in this makes me MORE excited. She's my favorite child actress.

Lol, Insidious? Horrifying? Don't make me laugh.

But yeah, agreeing withchu bb, the MPAA are redundant fucks that wouldn't understand how to rate a movie properly if they lived it themselves. :Coffee:

Dude Insidious scared the hell outta me. First scary movie I've seen in a whileeee.

Moving on, "too scary" isn't a real requirement. They break their own rules all the time which is terribly stupid -- and that's an insult to stupid people.

This is that movie with the clapping right? Oh God, it looks scary as shit. I honestly pray to God that really is scary. It's been YEARS since I've seen a movie that scared me. I'm not talking just jump scenes, I mean really scares me.

I read some reviews and people were saying how it really was scary. And I heard about the MPAA saying that it was R because of being too scary. That seems weird to me. But if they're right, then that's awesome.

Yikes. That is scary. This movie honestly freaks me out and makes me think I'm hearing shit. I can't wait. I absolutely love to be scared and I think this movie will get the job done.

This movie looks really good. I'm seeing it opening night with a friend. The clapping game really freaked me out, I don't know, there's just something sinster and unnerving about it.
