Anybody big into TES modding community? Since my laptop couldn't run Skyrim above like 10 fps I never paid any attention to the mods for Skyrim like I have with the last two games. With me getting a new computer soon I'm looking forward to modding up Skyrim and getting back into the game. Any suggestions? |

Illusive Man and I have talked about working on a mod ourselves, since he knows the editor system, but as for community mods... I haven't picked up Skyrim in months so I don't know what would be 'good ones' There is a mod out there that I've heard of that enables other players to enter your game or vice versa... I still think it's in alpha though. I need to check up on that one. |

Yeah I saw a video of it. It looks like a pretty rough alpha right now. They seem to have recently added character syncing so you can actually see the equipment they have on. |

Skyrim Nexus This site has pretty much had everything I've ever needed for skyrim mods. Just go to the top mods, you'll find some quality ones there. Theres also separate sites that have mods for other games. |

And beware the adult-section. "There be monsters" and all, if you know what I mean...

Lol, I remember when I first modded Oblivion, I installed the massive overhauls, like OOO and MMM or whatever they were called. Spent all day doing it, finally got to playing walked outside the sewers killed a few bandits. Looted one guy and all of a sudden I'm looking at a penis. I was like, "wtf!?" I had no clue they had included a nudity mod in them lol. I don't care it just really caught me off guard. |

Yes! Lol. I have my own mod, ENDORSE IT: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8468 Beyond that, I can recommend a bunch of mods whose names I can't recall at the moment. |

hahaha yes I totally forgot about warnings for the adult section... Gen I had it worse, I installed them too and didn't realize, and I had a companion mod Vilja and whenever she went to bed she would get naked for some reason. Now I never realized this, until one time I told her to go home, while I was playing with some friends. We were talking about the lengths people would go for naked stuff/sexy time in games. I get home, and there she is naked. I was like you've got to be kidding me.And Rain that looks like a totally awesome mod! How long have you been working on it?? It kinda reminds me of the Vilja mod. Still looks like AWESOMENESS!! |

That list is pretty similar to the one I had. Honestly, though, the mods for morrowind are a lot of fun still even now for me. For morrowind, my mod list was about twice that. The had part was making them all work together without any issues. |

I know someone who tripled Morrowind's hard drive size with mods. Apparently that's pretty normal for a Bethesda game. |

Modding Bethesda games is awesome. The modding community is so great and imaginative. I remember a mod that added pokeballs and you could capture your favorite monster and it would turn into a companion you could summon. |

Ah the trials of modding a bethesda game with every single mod you love and/or want to try out. Compatibility issues!!! |

Indeed, after I did a fresh install I might have realized what the problem was. Oh well, I decided to follow the STEP guide. It's step by step installation of if the count I just did is correct 140 different mods (of the ones I'm doing) in order to get the best possible visual experience with Skyrim. Then I need like 20 of those listed up there for gameplay stuff. |

Yeah I started at about 6:30. It's now 10:10 and I've got 64 mods from the STEP guide to go. Boring stuff, but hey whatever. If I've got the system to push the game as far as possible then you will be damn sure I'll do that. |

Well assuming Deadly Dragons doesn't complete break the game, as that is all I have left to install untested, then I am done. That's probably a grand total of like 200 or more mods installed lol. Though a good chunk were small generally insignificant things, like female footwrap HD textures. Things I'd probably never notice, but hey they were on the list haha. |

Well basically here's the fruits of about 6 hours of labor lol http://imgur.com/a/r2Yf5 I once met a guy that built a jet engine in his garage. When asked why, he said, "Anything worth doing is worth overdoing." (Which I think is a Mick Jagger quote) but that stuck with me. I try and live up to the credo.
