I'm getting pretty frooping sick of this bullwhomp

Anyone see any non-DVD bootlegs of the show? I have. They're REALLY rare. On eBay, they're selling Christmas ornaments of the gang and Miss Finster. I would buy them for Christmas, but...they're actually just the McDonald's toys with a little ornament hanger hoop on their backs. Not authorized by Disney at all, and the even have the (C)Mfg for McDonald's Corp. on the back of the toys. A few months ago, I was at a flea market, and I saw a pack of bootleg Recess toys. They were the McDonald's figures, but repainted, and somehow the copyright on the back is gone. The set was called "Schooltime Friends", and it included: * T.J. Detweiler (His jacket was painted so that there was a big white space in the middle to represent his shirt, since the toy had it's jacket zipped up) * Vince LaSalle * Spinelli (Red stripes were painted onto her tights to be more on-model, but the paint job whomped) * Gretchen Grundler (An effort was made to paint her sleeves white and her dress bow pink, but the paint job was really bad, and peeling) * Mikey Blumberg * Gus Griswald * Miss Finster * Esmerelda (From The Hunchback of Notre Dame) ...Esmerelda? Anyway, we went to said flea market last month, and someone must've bought them. |

She must go there to hide from Frollo. I'd personally like Disney to release a new set of Recess figurines for us. How about a gifts set that includes the show on DVD and figurines? That'd be awesome and I'd buy it on the spot. |
