Welcome Welcome to Threads of Fate, a Yu Yu Hakusho RPG that begins at the Dark Tournament Arc of the anime and manga! If you are reading this, first off, we here at ToF would like to thank you for dropping by! We accept both Canons and Original characters, along with allowing you to choose from three different races when creating your character! Don't be shy now! Feel free to take a look around the place and if you like what you see, please take the time to register and join the fun! If you have any questions, feel free to use the 'Guest Lounge' section of the board or the Cbox at the bottom of the board if a Staff Member is not on at the time. Most of the coding was done by DiamondDust and Nukdae, except for the skin and its images, which were created by McKee91 and Lout of ZNR. The templates and the plot belongs to DiamondDust and his staff. All posts, original characters, and topics are strictly the property of Threads of Fate and the individuals who created them. Copying/stealing of this material will not be tolerated. Banner was created by DiamondDust. The concept of 'Yu Yu Hakusho' was created by Yoshiro Tagashi.	Updates -11/22/12: Well, after a VERY long hiatus, I am pleased to announce that Threads of Fate is back in business! I've cleaned up the place a little bit, so hopefully you'll notice and have an improved experience from before! Since we've been gone for so long, I expect things to be slow in the beginning, but I hope the board will gradually increase in activity! I personally would like to apologize for how things went down and for the place being inactive for so long. Anyway, with that out of the way, let's hope something like this doesn't happen again and welcome back everyone who actually remembers this place! The Dark Tournament is still coming up, so we're going to try to train hard until then and we'll see what happens on that fateful day on Hanging Neck Island! For everyone that has made a character here on Threads of Fate, I wish to inform you that there has been a drastic change in how character abilities work. No longer are there Classes or Signature Attacks on the board, just whatever you put under Skills. This means your character can basically have whatever powers you wish, so long as they aren't over powered and match whatever your character's Spiritual Class is. Also, this means that the 'Class' section of the character sheet has been removed, meaning you'll have to edit your Character Sheet and remove that section and your Signature Attack section as well. Character Development A board where everybody can post stuff about their character, such as relationships and ongoing character plots I.E. journals in their character's point of view. The Human World

Sarayashiki Junior High A Junior High school in Japan that for some reason host to a combination of intelligent, school-going student, with the other half of the student body being low-life delinquents. Despite this bizarre occurrence, the students are able to co-inhabit the school without issue. Sarayashiki Junior High also host some of Japan's highest test scores and also happens to produce students with high Spirit Awareness for an unknown reason. Meiou High School The local high school in the neighborhood, MeiouHigh School is well populated with the typical mixture of 'normal' students and another part of the student body that the instructors like to call 'the bunch of thugs.' Being the only High School nearby, most everyone that graduates from the Junior High Schools are forced to come here. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on the individuals student's ideals and beliefs, but for the most part, most of its population understands that you have to watch your back at all times to 'survive.' Hino University The local college in the area, Hino University is a prestigious university that serves the finest and brightest minds. As such, the usual 'punks' and 'hooligans' that occupy the lower grade institutions are surprisingly absent hearing, leaving only a warm environment. The school is rather massive and new students always find themselves lost between the zigzagging hallways and the short times periods in which people are allowed to get to their class. Kaidan A massive city and shopping metropolis where most of the citizens in this area reside. It is well known for 'strange occurrences' to happen all over the neighborhood, such as ghost sitings and other supernatural events. Of course, none of these are proven to be at all true, so it is left up to speculation. Mushiyori Another city that's close to Kaidan, Mushiyori is much smaller in comparison and as a result, much more quiet. However, that doesn't mean there isn't a strange occurrence or two, as some of its denizens claim to her the moans and groans of the dearly departed walking the streets. It is unknown as to why these reports stem from both Mushiyori and Kaidan. Perhaps its simply what makes the two cities unique in that regard. Mushiyori houses a lake that visitors often like to travel too and a lighthouse that brightest up the darkness while ships attempt to sail at nighttime. Genkai's Compound The home of the renowned martial artist, Genkai. It is located on a private and rather expensive land somewhere in the mountains. Unless strictly invited by Genkai, it is generally a bad idea to simply wander here without permission, unless that unfortunate individual doesn't mind getting a stern earful from Genkai herself. Hanging Neck Island Little is known about Hanging Neck Island, as it doesn't show up on most maps of the world. Despite this, it is rumored to be the location of this year's 'Dark Tournament' and all sorts of mysterious figures travel there from time to time. Mostly off limits to those uninvited and there are actually claims that intruders will be killed on the spots. Strangely, there is an Hotel on this island by the name of the 'Hotel Kubikukuri.' The Spirit World

Koenma's Palace The palace of Lord Koenma, son of King Enma, and the place where all souls go when they die. It is here that Koenma decides each person's fate, based on their observed activity while they were living. Koenma then decides whether that person will go to Heaven or Hell. Koenma has large group of ogres that run around his palace that help him in his daily duties. He tends to argue with them a lot though, making the work somewhat less efficient then it should be. Hell A rather 'unpleasant' place where souls that committed great evil during their life time are set. The entrance to Hell mirrors that of an old temple that has fallen into disrepair and an ominous, blood-colored skyline hovers above it all. The usual punishment for being sent here is 10,000 years of everything(except your ability to feel pain)being cut away. As such, Hell's victims usually wish their torture was over, while at the same time realizing that such a thing will never be. Hell is guarded a small detachment of Ogres, though it is unknown why, as there isn't anyone who would 'want' to break into Hell and there is no escape once you're there. The Demon World

Tourin A Kingdom in the Demon World that is predominately ruled by the Great Demon Toshin Raizen. It is populated by a multitude of demons that do what they want, and when they want it, considering the lack of government in Tourin and the Demon World in general. It's not a bad place by any means though. Most demons here simply haven't had much contact with humans and assume almost all of them a threat or lower life forms as such. Most demons simply go about their day without a care in the world here. For the most part, the demons that occupy this territory are B-Class and higher, mostly because Tourin is closer to the 'Makai Barrier' and most of the citizens here long to go to the Human World. Alaric Another territory in the Demon World, this one is run by the Demon King Mukuro. Alaric is almost no different from Tourin, its population living carefree existences. The only real difference is that Alaric is mostly filled with C-Rank and lower demons, meaning that most of its citizens are free to go back and forth to the Human World. Gandara The last of the three territories in the Demon World, this one is headed by the Great Demon Yomi. Its laws are different from Tourin and Alaric because of its respective ruler. Compared to the other two territories, Gandara is much more peaceful, with its population non to interested to get involved in the affairs of the Human or the Spirit World. As as result, it has some of the weaker demons in the Demon World, but that suits them just fine. Gandara also has a massive, 'blood-colored' lake in the town's center that a rather 'interesting' sight to behold.	No Posts in Forum

Demon City Demon City was the home of the Four Saint Beasts, four very powerful demon's that had plans to take over the Human World using 'special' insects to control the human population. It is home to an abundance of E and D Class demons and Maze Castle, the former home of the Four Saint Beasts, can be seen hovering in the distance. Since the Saint Beasts, the former rules of the city, are now gone, it is nothing more that a place where weaker demons live. Koorime A place where the mysterious race of ice maidens make their dwelling. It floats above the skies of Makai and the individuals occupying it are for the most part non-aggressive demons. Being covered in constant snow, it would seem that only the ice maidens themselves can tolerate the extreme temperatures. Interestingly enough, the ice maidens are all female, with any male children born from an ice maiden being immediately cast off because of some unknown custom.
