Welcome to Threads of Fate, a Yu Yu Hakusho RPG that begins at the Dark Tournament Arc of the anime and manga! If you are reading this, first off, we here at ToF would like to thank you for dropping by! We accept both Canons and Original characters, along with allowing you to choose from three different races when creating your character! Don't be shy now! Feel free to take a look around the place and if you like what you see, please take the time to register and join the fun! If you have any questions, feel free to use the 'Guest Lounge' section of the board or the Cbox at the bottom of the board if a Staff Member is not on at the time.

This RPG was created by DiamondDust, Konti, and EmoBunny. Most of the coding was done by DiamondDust and Nukdae, except for the skin and its images, which were created by McKee91 and Lout of ZNR. -11/22/12: Well, after a VERY long hiatus, I am pleased to announce that Threads of Fate is back in business! I've cleaned up the place a little bit, so hopefully you'll notice and have an improved experience from before! Since we've been gone for so long, I expect things to be slow in the beginning, but I hope the board will gradually increase in activity! I personally would like to apologize for how things went down and for the place being inactive for so long. Anyway, with that out of the way, let's hope something like this doesn't happen again and welcome back everyone who actually remembers this place! The Dark Tournament is still coming up, so we're going to try to train hard until then and we'll see what happens on that fateful day on Hanging Neck Island!

For everyone that has made a character here on Threads of Fate, I wish to inform you that there has been a drastic change in how character abilities work. No longer are there Classes or Signature Attacks on the board, just whatever you put under Skills. This means your character can basically have whatever powers you wish, so long as they aren't over powered and match whatever your character's Spiritual Class is. Also, this means that the 'Class' section of the character sheet has been removed, meaning you'll have to edit your Character Sheet and remove that section and your Signature Attack section as well. Also, I have added a 'Nationality' listing under the Character Sheet, so you will need to add that as well.

Canon Rules; Read This BEFORE Applying!

 Good. You came here first before attempting to apply for a Canon. If you didn't, well...you'll have missed out on this important information here and that would have been tragic! Anyway, jumping straight to the point, here on Threads of Fate, we allow our users to RP as those memorable characters from the Yu Yu Hakusho series. Nevertheless, we have a few requirements and rules we'd like you to adhere/look at before you're able to do so, mainly to make sure that when you pick a Canon, everything afterward goes smoothly.

1. You cannot apply for a Canon until you have at least 50 posts. Why is that, you might ask? We want to make sure that only active members are allowed to RP as Canons so that we know the person who takes one won't disappear a day afterward. Any request to take a Canon will be ignored by the Staff if you do not have 50 posts.

2. We ask that you give us at least one sample paragraph of you RPing as your selected Canon. We mostly do this to see if you are A. Decent enough at RPing and B. To make sure you know what your doing with your particular character. When you apply, all you have to do is alert a staff member that you want to apply for a Canon before sending them the specified paragraph.

3. Canons come on a first come, first serve basis. Basically, if two eligible people want the same Canon, we will usually give the person that came to us first the character, assuming they qualify.

4. For whatever Canon your using, we ask that you not radically change their personality from their status in the show. That does not mean, however, that you cannot develop their character somewhat differently from the main series. So, we shouldn't see Kurama of all people going off on a killing rampage, as that is not what his character would do.

5. We reserve the right to deny you a Canon if we deem your sample paragraph underwhelming or for any other reason. You are, however, always welcome to apply again, or for another character.

6. You can have more than one Canon, however, you can only have more than one at a time if you reach 100 post points.
