Control Center → Arcade → Game Center The Game Center is a panel in the Control Center through which you can manage your Thunder Arcade games. Please note that this information is only available in English, but in the future the Control Center will be available in other languages. If you would like to offer translating the Control Center, please send me a message.
Possible Actions
- Add Games
To add games, simply press the button, OR put queries into the query box. To get a game query, you need to have a game vendor - or in the future when it is released, you can simply look in the Game Store. You may add up to 50 game queries at a time, and in the future, if you already have a game, you will be able to remove if from the list of games you want to add without having to re-enter all the queries.
- Open Games
To open games, you must first select them. Given, it's not exactly clear how to select games, but it is intuitive. Just click an icon, and a check-mark will appear. You can select up to 80 games to edit at once, though, editing 80 games can be a bit much to keep up with.
- Remove Games
To remove games, the same goes for opening them. First, select the games you want to remove, and then press Remove Games. You will be prompted to confirm you actually want to remove them, in case you meant to press another button. Also, note that removing a game does not remove the scores that are tied to that game; you may re-add the game at any time and recover all associated scores.
- Open Categories
Opening categories is fairly simple. Just click on the category button (or check-box), and press Open Categories.
- Add Categories
Adding categories is fairly straight-forward. Just press Add Categories. The "Rank" field determines the order in which categories are displayed in the Arcade. You can repeat ranks, but the rank should not exceed the number of categories you have. If there is a repeated rank, categories are then sorted by Name.
- Remove Categories
Similarly to removing games, select the categories you want to remove and press Remove Categories. You will be prompted to confirm you wish to remove the selected categories.
Game Collection
- Descriptiion
-
This section is pretty simple and self explanatory. Your collection of games (not including the defaults - if enabled) will be displayed here by icon. If you hover over the icon, a tooltip will appear showing the Name of the game. By clicking on the icon you will select the game, and a white check-mark will appear. To search through games, simply add your search terms and press Enter (or the "Search for" button). You can search with advanced methods just like in the arcade. For a full reference, see About Searching. When you add a Series Name to games, a select box will appear allowing you to search through a set of games in a series. When there is more than one page of results, a page changer also appears on the search bar. Note: You can also search by category. Just select a category and press the "Search for" button.
Game Queries
- Description
-
Game Queries are the second step in quicker game adding, next to the deprecated Quick-Adds of olden days. To use game queries, it is advised that you do not try to make your own query, but retrieve the information from a game vendor. The Control Center supports up to 50 queries at once, and will accept v1 format (the most common at this time) and v2 format. To use more than one query, press the Enter or Return key between each query. To process the Game Queries, press "Add Games."
Also note the "Fetch Queries" button. This will come in to play in the future; don't worry about it right now.
