In the next few months, Christian (Bleedman0xx) and I will be working on a few projects. My main focus will be on Thunder Services 1.0.2, which will allow multiple domains and bring in a few external features that connect to the arcade. I will also be working on Thunder Arcade 3.0.3, but it will not be my main focus (as I'm in a rather stuffed semester this Spring). Also, I would like to note that our Support Ticket system will be moving in the future. It will be moved into the Control Center (so that you members don't have to scurry around from place to place, remembering dozens of passwords). What is exciting about this (to me anyway) is that it will be using our server's email service! Exciting, right? All members of this forum that register an account (Account Management) will receive 50mb (subject to change.. it may go up) of email storage on our server, free of charge. The only catch is that all applications must be up-to-date to get support. We won't offer support for anything but updating, unless all applications are up-to-date. The password for email and for signing into the website will be the one and the same, but signing into the website automatically grants access to emails and support tickets. I say it's the same for email because you will, in essence, be able to sign in through a mail client or smart phone. So that's another exciting thing If looking through the website, Support Tickets will be authentic and marked with the blue Thunder Services seal: Also subject to change is an email username. I'm thinking it should be the account name, but that brings up issues when it comes to changing account names. I may have to lock-in account names at that point. We'll see. Also, the theme will be continually updated. I'm experimenting with certain aspects. I hope they are cross-browser compatible for the most part. |

I'd say that the email username be separate, if possible. Then again, most email addresses can be name-changed. Like in Yahoo or Gmail. Well, this is just a comment of mine, but maybe have the email viewer show both the e-mail address and the user's current name. |

It will not be tied the a username - those cannot be locked in, obviously. I believe I will set it up based on Thunder Services Account Name, and I will lock in all current account names. I have to choose something that remains constant because email address names cannot be changed - I don't have enough control on the server to allow that. The account name on this forum, for example, is root. So the email address for support tickets that went through this account would go through the email address root@thunderservices.net, and a mail client on a computer can access those emails. However, you won't actually need a mail client to get support. Signing into the Control Center will automatically grant access to the support (email) system, provided you have the right access level. It will be built directly into the Control Center. |

So then, is there a set date range as to when can we expect this update? |

No - as always I do not provide an ETA on updates. I can't make any promises about time. Only that it is being worked on. Eventually, however, I will make an announcement on the website which will keep track of my progress (percentage wise), which will gage the amount of work that gets done. |
