Just moving this away from the other thread to make things easier to look at.
Given the above I imagine that, early on when people are relying a lot on their 'other skills', there would be a strong influence on many people. But when they have a chance to not have to use those then they could 'revert' and realise some of what they had been doing. |

Not sure if this has been brought up in the chat or elsewhere, so I might as well ask here. Although we ourselves seem to be heading along the line of original characters, what about those that become actual trademarked/copyrighted characters? Specifically, will there be any duplicates among them, or is there only one instance each of... say... Ranma, or Solid Snake, or whoever? |

Hmm... I'm going to say that there might be duplicates? But not exactly the same duplicates. ie Ranma, Ranma-chan, assorted variantions of Ranma (Samurai Ranma, Ninja Ranma, Magical Girl Ranma) might occur, but they wouldn't be the same even if they resemble each other. |
