We updated the lettering and logo. I had been planning to do it for months since how hard the lettering was to read and the logo was very dark and not detailed.
What you see is just an idea I came up with. I am planning on scouring the site here for some good screenshots I can use for the logo. It has to fit the profile of the Santa Fe locomotive however to work.
Suggestions are welcome for change as long as text works with the color pallet, the locomotive is an in game locomotive shot, is a passenger line (hence the name TCR) and has similar profile of the existing locomotive with track.

As many of you are aware, there are some issues accessing pages and the like on TCR right now, and issues in which our primary domain name isn't functioning. As many of you have probably found out through email, we do have a backup URL that still works and allows us access to the board for the time being, albeit with some crippling functionality like the loss of access to our Downloads and other pages.

I'm just letting you all know that I am working on trying to resolve these issues as best as I can. I should have a temporary solution for the loss of access to sections of the site within the next few hours if things run smoothly on my end. As far as the domain goes, if .co.cc does not come back online by the end of the week, The other admins and I will begin talks of finding a more permanent and more reliable domain name. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have cause for everybody, but rest assured, we're working on it.

I would like to apologize for my lack of speed in getting things fixed and working around here. That being said, progress will continue to be slow over the next 2 weeks, because it is time for finals. After I finish with them, I should be able to sit down and properly fix some of the issues we've been having with the site since our domain host went down. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Downloads should be mostly functioning again now. If there are any further issues, please post about them here and I will do my best to address them as soon as possible.

The shoutbox now has a code that enables it to auto refresh about every 10 seconds. This keeps us from having to need a chat box. I think this is the best solution.

I removed the old chat section. I think it suffered from many shortcomings but it was a learning experience. I'm going to discuss an option I found with the other admins that should be worlds better than the old system. I'm doing a bit of research on it now. So stand by for some (hopefully) good news in the future.

Everyone who submits something for upload please read:

(1) Please submit your downloads to the "Download Submission" section, not to PM's
I don't mind the PMs to me but I may not have time to get it up and Mike (Gandalff) may. We work different hours.
(2) Please include a picture link with your submission
Mike and I are the only people who upload to the section and we both work a lot. Neither of us have time to get your items into the game to take screen shots for you on top of uploading them.
