Railroading in the real world is something a game cant simulate. Train sims try their hardest to sim it but it just cant get it right. I have been a conductor for Norfolk Southern for the past year now..and I have to say its tough. In this thread I hope others can share their real life experiences as a railroader. Ask any railroader no job in the world can compare to the rush of kicking your first car, riding a shove at 20mph..in the rain or snow, or having your train stall on a grade... . and you have to cut your train. But let me start...we were assigned 6920... say no more....it was a good night..
