Thanx to SEAL team six under the CIA (Not the President even though he took all the credit) UBL is dead. The team was under sole control of the CIA/JSOC and team 6 usually is. What you may not know is unlike what the press is reporting 5 dead, the phrase "22 individuals where killed or captured" is in the official memo. I can only assume that the "captured" individuals where taken to Bagram and scooted to the States or locations unknown within minutes for interrogation.
There was so much data devices, hard drives and documentation recovered at the scene JSOC is actually starting a special intel team to go through it all. With this team in place they say it could still take months to go through it all. I can only assume UBL being the number 1 the recovered documents could blow the lid off of Al-Qaeda.

I got this info this morning so I'm not sure how dated it is by now.

All info I posted here is unclassified material. Even so being unclassified doesn't mean its released publicly I will release more as I hear it and am sure what my friends on the ground say its ok to do so.

There was so much speculation as to why it was done on a Sunday. It has nothing to do with the day of the week. It has everything to do with the fact that most special operations missions are done on or around new moon phase so its in total darkness. Yes our new moon here is on Tuesday. There's was Saturday I beleive.

I doubt it. Gas prices are $4.29 where I live & may keep going up. If this keeps up, I might as well not learn to drive.

We will get no oil out of the deal. We don't even keep our own. We throw it in the speculation market like everyone else. So it goes into the global commodities to be speculated on and sold for market value. Thats why I laugh when people say "this war is for oil" They clearly don't understand how that market works. NOW war for big US businesses to make money may be a different story.

Figure this gerr. An android phone may cost $200-$500. The military uses a radio made by Thales called the MBITR or JEMS. The military calls it the AN/PRC-148 and costs between $7500-$9000. That's a big cost savings.
