Getting ready for battle(about 1300 more men then were at the real battle for the British, and the real Zulu army had 4,000 men)

I Went against 6,000 Zulu with 1,480 Men.
Posted Image

Posted Image
My outer wall to the left flank fell 10 minutes into the battle, I quickly fell back to a secondary position with the troops who were guarding the outer wall, there retreat was covered by men shooting from the windows as well as men already at the secondary barrier.
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
The Zulu's get pushed back by the men at the secondary barrier after a mass of volleys from 2 ranks of men in front of the overturned wagons and 1 rank of men standing on the wagons.
Posted Image
The opposite side of the missionary the men hold off an attack.
Posted Image
However a mass of Zulu Warriors enter the blind spot at the corner of the building and swarm into the building and over the wagon barrier.
Posted Image
Meanwhile back at the secondary barrier, the men hold off yet another onslaught and leave the field a bloody mess with bodies of Zulu Warriors littered everywhere.
Posted Image
Back on the other side of the missionary the Zulu Finally break down the doors on the inside of the fortified hospitial, and begin to filter out behind the soldiers.
Posted Image
They soldiers begin to dispatch the Zulu behind them when a massive wave of Zulu Warriors seize the moment and crash over the wagons unleashing all hell among the ranks.
Posted Image
The reserves turn to shoot the Zulu's up on the wall they fire 3 rounds of volley fire before charging home to retake the wall.
Posted Image
At that same exact moment in time the secondary wall on the other side of the missionary begins to become overwhelmed and ultimately suffers the same fate as the other side of the missionary.
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
The reserves rush in and reclaim the wall and begin to pour fire on the withdrawing Zulu warriors.
Posted Image
Now the center comes under a rush from the Zulu warriors, they find a small hole in the line and charge through, however to little success as the reserves immediately pour fire upon them and charge home.
Posted Image
The secondary wall still lays down a blanket of fire to keep the Zulu's at bay.
Posted Image
A lul in the battle allows the men to regroup and reform at secondary positions.

Stay tuned for wave 2!
Wave 2:
The immense pile of bodies in the last killing field.
Posted Image
The Zulu's off in the distance moving into position to attack.
Posted Image
Mass of bodies from both sides at the blind spot.
Posted Image
The men patiently await the next onslaught and take this time to reload the ammo and take a quick drink of water.
Posted Image
The Zulu's moving ever closer as the bugler sounds the call to arms.
Posted Image
The Zulus flanking around to the left and swarming around the right with many more left in the distance, seems hopeless.
Posted Image
Prepare to fire at 500 yards!
Posted Image
FIRE!
Posted Image
The Zulu swarm towards the back wall again but are held in place.
Posted Image
Zulu men running towards the blind spot.
Posted Image
The Zulu round the corner of the building to be met with volley fire from 2 different regiments that decimates the Zulu group, they held that area...for now.
Posted Image
The Zulu's are attempting to over run the native levies held up inside the hospital to defend the injured and sick.
Posted Image
The Thin Red Line begins to get it's name as the ranks begin to get thin, but the men still produce volley's of fire at the enemy ripping the Zulu men apart.
Posted Image

Then men in the courtyard reform and form once again 3 ranks to rain hell down upon any Zulu who enter.
Posted Image
The Zulu attempt to charge the back wall but are met with a nasty volley fire from the few men left of the regiment on the outside wall, ultimately the Zulu's get turned back.
Posted Image
The Zulu's now charge en mass over the now abandoned front wall, little do they know there are now 4 ranks of men in 2 regiments waiting at the far side to open fire and cut them down as the climb over the over turned wagons.
Posted Image
Some Zulu men sneak around the side of the hospital behind the regiments firing at the front wall and begin to fight with the rear of them and the regiment behind the last wall, they are utterly destroyed by the quick bayonet.
Posted Image
Another wave tries to break a hole in the blind spot but again they are torn apart and turned back.
Posted Image
The few men left on the back wall still rain terror down upon the approaching Zulu.
Posted Image
The Zulu yet again try and swarm around to the blind side of the missionary. This time they succeed in breaching the wall. However the Welch reserves who are now dry of ammunition and no more ammo left to spare, stand with muskets in hand with bayonets, waiting to fill any hole.
