You know you're a railfan when you see 611 haters and come up with this to show how some other railfans react:

You know you're a railfan when after an overtime hockey game you go to CSX/NS yard in Buffalo to get some nifty shots in the 6 foot snowbank and whistling wind. :P

I remember when NYS&W did Hockey Trains before 'Wallie' (As my father calls him) died. New guy sold all passenger equipment almost instantly.

B.O.T:
You know you're a railfan when you make friends with employees.

(I know two, we used to be two, as the one got laid off. They were brothers & worked for CP's MOW crew. One guy gave me a unused Spike Pounder as well as a Hard Hat, Vest, Lamp & some old date nails that were found in old ties. Other guy told me some stories, like when a train around midnight hit someone & how they found out, besides himself finding a hand lodged in a SD40-2 Truck.)
