I'm hoping for this to be a comprehensive list of terminology. If you see anything missing, PM me and I'll put it in. And if you've got any questions, start a new topic in the terminology section and someone'll answer them. :)
I'm even going to try and make this alphabetical! :D

Agender: Not expressing and/or not having a gender identity.
Androgyne: Expressing and/or identifying as between male/masculine and female/feminine.
Bigender: Expressing and/or identifying with two gender identities/presentations, either simultaneously or at different times.
Binary: Referring to gender consisting of only male and female.
Butch: Identifying with societal, masculine roles/behaviours.
Cisgender: The match between an indviduals biological sex and their gender identity.
Dysphoria: Gender Dysphoria is feeling uncomfortable with one's assigned sex/gender/norms/roles.
FAAB: Female Assigned At Birth.
FtM: Female-to-Male. An individual who was FAAB but identifies as male. A transman.
Femme: Identifying with societal, feminine roles/behaviours.
Gender: The socially constructed roles, behaviours, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appropriate for men and women. (from WHO website)
Genderfluid: Moving between two or more gender identities/expressions, at different times.
Gender Neutral: Having a neutral gender identity or expression. Perhaps having a preference for gender neutral pronouns.
Genderqueer: Having a gender identity that does not fit within the gender binary.
HRT: Hormone Replacement Therapy. The use of hormones (oestrogen for transwomen, testosterone for transmen) to give trans individuals hormones that give them traits of the sex they identify with.
Intergender: Expressing and/or identifying as between male/masculine and female/feminine.
Intersex: A biological sex that is not categorised as male or female. Some intersex individuals identify as trans*, others do not.
Neutrois: Gender neutral.
Non-Binary: The umbrella term used to describe lying outside the gender binary.
MAAB: Male Assigned At Birth.
Mtf: Male-to-Female. An individual who was MAAB but identifies as female. A transwoman.
Pangender: Expressing and/or identifying with all gender identities/presentations, either simultaneously or at different times. Can be synonymous with Genderfluid.
SRS: Sex Reassignment Surgery. Also known as GRS (Gender Reassignment Surgery) or GCS (Gender Confirmation Surgery). This is often divided into 'top' and 'bottom' surgery. These surgeries give trans individuals the sex appearance that conforms with their gender identity.
Sex: The biological and physiological characteristics that define male and female.
Trans*: A term used to include all individuals who do not experience a match between their sex and gender.
Transgender: This can be used as an umbrella term to describe all members of the trans* community. It can also be used to specifically mean the individuals transitioning between binary genders (MtF, FtM).
Transsexual: Some transgender individuals may define themselves as transsexual after they have had SRS and have changed their sex medically/legally.
Transvestite: Also known as a crossdresser. This term could be quite controversial. It refers to an individual who wears clothing and adopts the behaviour of a sex/gender which is not their own. However, for some trans* people these clothes/mannerisms aren't opposite or different to how they feel they would like to be, so use of the term here may not be appropriate. Use this term with caution.
Trigender: Expressing and/or identifying with three gender identities/presentations, either simultaneously or at different times.

Please do note that not all people will agree with how I've defined these terms. This is just a guideline. Some people may not appreciate some of the terms on this list either.
My advice would be to ask the trans* person/people in your life how they identify/define themselves to avoid any uncomfortable awkwardness! :P
