remove function not deleting the target node

I have nearly used 3 different algorithms for the remove TreeNode:: class function; they are all pretty logical but they all don't delete the targeted TreeNode or it deletes it and break the tree....i'm running out of options, so if anyone has a good algorithm please share.

Thanks,

What is the situation that causes the target node to not be removed? (ie: when it has 1 child, 2 children or 0 children)
