King stands alone in an alley way in London, England. King: I stand before you changed. The events of Kingdom Come have effected me. I shouldn't be surprised, steel cage matches are supposed to change you. Being locked inside a cage is supposed to change you, look at going into prison. Prison changes a man. I know from my brief run ins with the law when I thought I was a savior... when I thought I was "Your Personal Jesus." King looks down briefly remembering his past. King: The steel cage match between Matt Covey and I was not a suitable end to our issues, just as our last match, when I beat him by the inside cradle in the ropes did, just as many think The Fantastic Four did with the end to their legendary comic book series because 20th Century Fox has their movie rights, not Marvel Studios. Matt Covey, I don't know what you think but I still have issues with you, we maybe enemies of enemies which makes us friends, but we are not. I don't what we are. You let me walk out of the cage to finish the job on my cousin after I stopped my former partner's face into the mat before returning later to end his dreams of being Tag Team Champion once again. King shakes his head speaking the name of his former partner and protege. King: Rob Reed, I proved that I am superior to you and that I am beyond you. I should be in the world title hunt. I should be the next in line challenging for the British Title. I am the uncrowned World Champion because I never was beat for the promotion title that I held closed which is why it has an astarix to it. King seeths at the idea of being in the records with a notation attached to his name and legacy. King: But here's the thing, I am more than some astarix. I am not some steroid user like a Barry Bonds or an Alex Rodriguez. I am not a cheater like Bill Belicheck. I am a pro-wrestler. I am a clean athlete and not a cheat I don't deserve to be remembered as an astarix in Grey's Sports Almanac. I am much more than that and Wolfe, you have given me that shot. An open invitation battle royal. Many wrestles can be in this match. Current UKWF stars, former stars from UKWF, 6SW guys, WIF guys, Combat Pro guys, NJAW guys, MXW guys, GLL guys, EWA guys, SCW guys, anyone from an alphabet soup of a federation can show up. But it don't matter. I don't care if you are an upstart like Caketown, my half-brother Tim Timmins, a member of of Bad Company, a Smut Peddler, an ally like Daniel Ward, a former road trip partner like Thrax or even a friend like Ruth, I don't care. They all will fall at my feet. King laments at the names of some friends he has had in the business that he would eliminate in order to get the chance to be the next number one contender. King: A wise man said that a friend in need is a pest and in a match where every man is in it for them self is that is doubly true. If both members of Bad Company are in, I know Rob and James will try to bail out the other in self preservation to give them a second chance, just as the Smut Peddlers would do. An egoist, a man who only cares about themself like me is at an advantage. They don't care about alliances and are willing to sell their partner out of the match. I don't have to worry because I have no allies. My agent has a few other clients who I have no ties to what so ever. Mason, you can put a bounty on my head all you want but it wont stop me. My goal is now prove that I am the man that the UKWF needs and the hooligans need to rally behind to take the title from Xavier Reid. King points to himself. King: In your hearts, you know I'm right. King walks away as the scene ends. |
