For me greatest movie soundtrack has been the one for the Romeo & Juliet movie of 1996.

Good Morning Vietnam was pretty awesome too ......

That be the one Lilly.
I was dissappointed that it was a rehash of older recordings. Good background chill stuff, but nothing requiring a good listen, or any memorable track that you could "play" in your head from memory.
Hey do you like Pink Floyd? Look what I ran into.

ooops we already talked about that. :-[

lyrics ....... The last words I spoke before they tucked me in
I may discount Bungee jump but,
I'll never smoke weed with Willie again.

I once had the bungee jumping, or as I called it at the time, freefalling without a parachute, on a weed (chillum) venture ....... I swore "never again", and I haven't.

Want to listen to 'good' music, try the above, it reminds me of the late 1940's, when military music was everywhere, particularly on the radio & our local bandstand.

I have just became aware of what I think is an old song. It appeals to my emotional system and can be listened to on youtube.

___________ It's a working man I am (and I've been down underground ---- and I swear if ever I see the sun ---- oh for any length of time ---- so I can hold it in my mind ---- I never again will go down underground. and so on.

Wasn't he good? Ben E King R.I.P.

Bloody brilliant song.

But I'll bet you are like me.

I bet you can't name another single by him.

I just looked at Wiki and there's dozens of them, but I honestly could not have told you any of them were by him.

As an aside the film Stand By Me (which uses the song as its theme) is, without a doubt, one of my top 20 films of all time.

All The Best

I just listened to Bob Dylan singing "live" last night (barely alive). It was the second to last Dave Letterman show, if that means anything to you.

Anyway, Dylan is 74, now. He couldn't sing when he was 24 and his voice has deteriorated dramatically since then.

My ears are still bleeding.
