Bob Crow was previously the head of this little known campaign, but it's a laughable kick in the teeth for all those who claim "socialists" (they're actually Trade Unionists here) want to be/benefit from being part of the EU. http://www.no2eu.com/?page_id=335 And this from April - http://www.morningstaronline.co.uk/a-866a-Communists-back-No2EU-challenge-to-Ukip-poison#.VDlbbKKKnMo
I would never vote for these guys, but thought it was funny and poignant given the fact that well, it's going to inevitably annoy most if not all of our right-wing members.

Well apart from the funny side (and it's a bit last May) there is a serious question: If we accept that being in the EU is to the overall economic benefit of the UK, why does that mean it is to the economic benefit of most UK citizens? I'm very unconvinced it is. |

Seems like it's in neither of our interests, but we are now so deep in it and have signed so many agreements that there may be no way out. without having to accept huge fines and the problems of being shunned by the EU rather than just parting ways. |

The opening paragraph of the link reads "25 years after then European Commission president Jacques Delors addressed TUC Congress in Bournemouth promising full employment, better workers’ rights and protection from Tory free market policies in return for full support for the ‘European project’, it is clear that delegates were sold a pup" There really is no reason to read any further ....... the EU has assumed the same clothes as those Tories. To Imagine it will re-consider, will legislate against it's own ideals and become worker friendly is absolutely crazy. Out is the only way to break free of it - and kill it off. Then try again, but with the ideals it started out with having been enforced. |

Er, you really should've read a bit further down The last line is telling: "The only rational course is to leave the EU and rebuild Britain with socialist policies." No2eu, clues in the title. Anyway I agree with what you wrote. |

Hmmm.... the communist party ? Well, yeah.. OK.. we've seen how well communist economics works in the world. Just look at the shining example of The Soviet Union. No.. wait... they've turned Capitalist/Nationalist. OK... China. Nooo... they're becoming mega-capitalist ummm..... AHA... North Korea. The shining example to us all. |

I dont think that any of the so called communist countries applied 'communist' economics . IMO 'communist ' policies are simply impossible to adopt . |
