UKIP: Reckless accuses Farage of EU migrants U-turn Newly-elected UKIP MP Mark Reckless has accused party leader Nigel Farage of a policy U-turn over EU migration. In an interview with the Times, the Rochester and Strood MP says: "The policy changed on Wednesday and I'm a bit sore about how I came out of that." The former Tory sparked controversy on Tuesday when he implied EU migrants might have to leave the UK after a "transitional period" if Britain left. Mr Farage denied this, saying those who had entered legally could stay. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-30157507 Ultra-zealots attacking super-zealots for not being zealous enough. |

It is a question of citizenship surely ....... only that gives anyone the right to remain. Visas are worthless if they don't have an expiry date. This spat is posturing, a false issue, there is no argument to be made. |

Meanwhile closer to home:- Labour Uncut. So not trusted on the economy and not trusted on immigration Labour has to hope that UKIP deliver them the keys to No.10 as they cannot get them via merit. Is this the tipping point for Labour? Will it now go rapidly into terminal decline and the rump left as the political wing of the Public Sector Unions? UKIP are out hunting for their 1st Labour defector. |

^That looks suspiciously like a piss poor diversion to me! Find the OP not to your taste? The conversation I'm really looking forward to is the one between Douglas the banks are a conspiracy against the British people Carswell and Nigel the city is a hub of innovation Farage. Can't wait for that one! |

To you yes. But you are just banging your lone little tin drum which nobody listens to as it is both hollow and sharp at one and the same time. |

The same could be asked about the Tories. The media are going to have to give in and start reporting the sheer pressure of Tory cockups building up. |

Quite frankly..I am losing confidence in Farage...He makes one comment in one part of the country...and then disagrees with himself in another part.. He seems he is too laid back..and letting his promise of getting us out of the EU work for him..... Is he really P.M. material?? |

I think that is also true, but whist the Tories have some difficulties they are not so fundamental as those facing Labour. The Tories know what they are for even if many do not like them, Labour have lost all connection with their roots and now cannot articulate a strategy. What are Labour for? Labour held itself together when they were high on the the Public Spending drug, they could all applaud that, but those times are over and we are in for a very long haul of cutting and even more cuts. They have picked at the easy hanging fat, now the established brown variety on the surface on the muscles will hurt. It does not matter who is in Office the cuts are inevitable, the Politicians can only tinker at the margins. Joe Public knows about and expects the cuts and they are running in droves to vote for a Party, namely UKIP, which like as not would, given the chance, cut fast and deep. The drift is further to the right, Tory + UKIP, will Milli follow suit? Or will his Paymasters stay his hand? |

A bare faced lie or you have reading difficulties or understanding basic English. That said the Tories took a pasting the other night, so what? But Labour were hammered into oblivion in a seat they recently held. The boundary changes were minor and cannot be used as a cover for the fact that Labour has lost the C2 white van driver vote. |

The trouble is it has now become abundantly clear to everyone else what the Tories are really for! Hence the battering at the hands of "fellow travellers" UKIP! Only a fool would not understand this concept. |

But the even bigger battering received by Labour you leave out of the equation. A bit thick of you is it not? If you could understand English which I doubt, you would have spotted that I said that the Tories have policies that not everyone will like, but Labour's problem was find any worth articulating. Now be a good boy, stop being a rather dim little Tribalist and stop your trolling as it makes you look rather silly. |

Are ANY of them... Really? Personally I don't think so, so it falls to voting in whatever party who's 'principles' (and I use that word VERY loosely) most match your own preferences. |
