The latest poll out tonight (Thurs 12th Feb) is showing that both major parties have gained ground at the expense of the smaller parties.

LAB 36 (+2) CON 34 (+1) UKIP 9 (-2) GREEN 7 (-1) LIB DEM 6 (-2)

As the general election looms closer and closer, are people now beginning to realize that neither UKIP or the Greens are not going to form the next government, and that they are probably not even going to be in kind of power-brokering position, therefore what s the point in voting for them.

Of course this could be what's known as "an outliner" and it is always foolish to read too much into one single poll, however it could be the beginning of a trend, one that does make sense, and IPSOS-MORI are one of the more reputable and accurate poller s

Yes very interesting. Voter polarisation has started as it often does when an election looms

I'm voting UKIP and holding my nose whilst I do so as we have an utterly useless Tory MP at present.

You are forgiven because of tactical reasons. My mate Steve is voting UKIP because he ordered a chicken sheesh and got a lamb doner instead. Dinner and country ruined he said. ;D

1000 adults contacted by telephone. Representative?, maybe not if they had to be by their phones rather than working.
