Fantastic extrapolations there.

You have just proven why the implementation of Leveson is a matter of urgency.

I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago and naturally it was virtually ignored! And fully expect the right wing usuals will also bypass this a keep repeating the false allegations.

And it was interesting yesterday as the Mail did not carry any alarmist anti Corbyn scare stories after posting eleven the previous day! I suspect the comments section on each piece caused the change of tack as those posting replies were largely attacking the Mail for it's hideously skewed reporting.

It's there in black and white, or rather on the pages of Private Eye.

And lets face it most of the retarded right wing electorate take their spoon fed bullshit at face value and would not even think about reading a manifesto let alone something concise or unbiased.

I think sometimes you just need to keep repeatings things verrry slowly so that they understand.

Maybe it will need posting again in a few weeks? :P

I'm just surprised no one has yet mentioned the allegations that Corbyn might have shagged Diane Abbott! ;D

Yes and was I so wrong to assume your "usuals" comment was aimed at members here?

But if we're going to quote Private Eye let's look at this week's cover

Nice try but a rather feeble attempt at a rebuttal! I fear you may not understand fully the concept of satire after yesterdays hobnailed attempts to counter a clear example of it ;D

As you well know PE is not in the business of making friends in Westminster or anywhere else where power resides.

According to the Telegraph, Jeremy Corbyn's neighbours report that he rides a "Chairman Mao-style" bicycle to and from work.

Indeed it was. As I put it on another forum. Corbyn probably discovered that sometimes 3 bags is not enough . .

I had the misfortune of meeting her once, she really is great at talking over you and insistibg her way is proven to be correct by her experience.

Haha I wouldn't go that far, stumbled across a pravda article about a chinese panda conspiracy that had me in stitches about a week ago.

I think all this pathetic demonizing is going to backfire spectacularly, lets face it the shite mainstream press did not see Farage on the horizon, the meteoric rise of SNP, they misread the election and now they have Corbyn who seemed to come from nowhere. One of the problems if you live in a cosy and insular middle class World populated by people just like yourself.

It's the press out of step, not public opinion.

And the Telegraph is beginning to look like a version of the Sun, minus the tits on page three.

has it ever occurred to you that the british public are well aware the "newspapers" ape their mocked counterparts in the dystopias presented by Huxley and Orwell and know the headlines in three inch print composed more or less exclusively of one syllable for exactly what they are ?

If he rides a Giant Lafree Twist I have a question for him.

Where the hell can I get a spare part for the rear wheel hub, I'm almost having to resort to jointing the local Model Railway engineering Club to use their 3-D printer ...

People believe what they want to believe. We have several very stubborn people on this very forum who despite having the facts pushed under their noses from various sources can be relied upon to regularly regurgitate proven false information and outright lies simply because they feel it should be true.Tabloids pander to this mental defect.

Orwell to these people might just as well be the river and not the author.

Usual moans and groans from the anti tidy USUALS.
Saying they won't win in 2020,of course they said that the Tory's wouldn't win this time, but they did.
Of course they blame the media from keeping it a secret what the Tory's are doing, that why people put there X beside the Tory candidate,as far as I am aware people go into the ballot box alone, not with a press officer there

This much is true. Saying that, there are a lot of gullible people out there who are easily conned due to misconceptions about their own status. However, the penny usually drops, eventually.

Nah he's not even odds on, I suggest you recall how the Tories select their leaders. There is no certainty at all as David Davies found out.

Osborne is 6/4, May is 8/1, Bonking Boris is 7/2 and many many furlongs left to run

I have two daughters, and neither can be said to have inherited their mother's persona, and one certainly not her mother's physical appearance.
Perhaps you should have said 'parents'.

A handsome woman.

Who cares who she has shagged or for that matter who Comrade Corbyn has bagged, it's what they stand for that counts. I thought Corbyn was a principled serious objector to everything, against everything but without a reasoned set of solutions. Now I find that he has no reasoned solutions and what he stands for is also negotiable. Not only negotiable maybe subject to the whims of focus groups. So it turns out that he is a malleable Politician after all and has only just learned, after 30 years of posturing, that politics is the art of the doable.

I do not see how Corbyn will persuade those that think he is a left wing amateur fool that he is someone with something to say that is of any interest. Clearly those that believe his every utterance before he utters will not be persuaded that he is anything other than Labour's new Messiah.
The problem being that the Tories will be unopposed and that is not in anyone's interests.

The state the Tories will have got the country in by the time of the nest general election anyone but Tory will get in. (Much as I want the Tories consigned to the dustbin of history I don't thing that will be a good thing.)
