As some may know, I play in a band.

We had a studio session, and one track stands out from the others, IMO

If you're into it, turn it up loud.

Rude Mood - Money Talks

Our new singer is double cool.

Any comments? (apart from the bass player's dodgy timing - yes, we know)

Like or not?

Nice guitaring/sound, sounds like you were holding back a bit to give the singer some space (some more lead gtr licks would be great). Not a bad song overall.

Appreciated... Song was done in one take with vocal overdub.

Guitarist didn't want to double-track. What you hear is what you get, basically.

We wanted the 'live sound', or as near as we could get within the confines of one very small room.

;D

I was always an OKish bass player.. but my drumming, then only used to trust me doing white stripes songs at school. !jk!

That said, I got a bit better.

It reminds me of sitting in bars in the US or background music to CSI on the telly.
I like it

Excellent singing. Backing is OK and certainly nothing to be embarassed about in any way.

Not my music genre of choice really, I'd say my biggest criticism is that it came over as too easy a piece and both singer and musicians could have handled something more demanding.

Hope that helps

You can't, it seems, stick your music on Fbook...

Must be a video. (err. why?)

So I made one.

Thanks for that. Done, done, and done. They certainly will be.

Anyway, I've spent some time 'prettying' up the website.

If anyone could visit, and let me know what you think?

Is it clear? Easy to navigate? Does everything appear to work?

What's missing? (apart from the 'gigs' page, we're not working at the min)

It's very good indeed  Draws you in.

As you say the gigs list would help so the only thing I'd say would be good to add is a reviews/comments section.
